Dudley's Irish Pub — Restaurant in Wichita

It was quite busy when we walked in, since lots of games were on last night. We set about finding seats for our party. We sat at a dirty table for about 20 min, but that was understandable, it was busy. The blonde rude server walked over to us with a piece of paper and asked us for our drink order. " what do you want to drink" no hello, hi guys, no greeting whatsoever. I requested our table be washed, "go ahead and give me your drinks, I'll wash it when I get back with your drinks" . The tone was quite rude. We were ok with that, maybe she's busy. Next, she brought our drinks and placed them all at the table by grabbing all the lips of the glasses. Server 101 tells an intelligent server that no one wants the part of the glass they're drinking out of touched by dirty server hands. I asked her to not grab my glass by the top and instead the side. She slammed our glasses down and walked away. At this point, we were unwilling to have a rude, obnoxious and inadequate server take care of us. I went to the bar to find a manager to request another server. The manager got us another server, but during the discussion with the manager she came over aggressively approached me while I was talking with the manager. The manager actually had to tell her to go away. The server assigned to us from there on was kind, had a great attitude, and took great care of us. I've seen other reviews with this blonde rude server mentioned. Dudleys should rethink their staffing. This gal is hurting...

Excellent drinks, food and obviously well versed staff. This Rueben sandwich is as good as I've ever had (to include my kitchen). Great service. Server, on point. I've dined at Dudley's twice this month;.on both occasions , I'm are My suggestion, I want to share this life altering experienceand n momlife restaurant to my mates as if it were my business. In all sincerity9 me when I say; "Dudley's wont disappoint! " I have hung up my shoes as a server. We are not one to sit idle when a peefect service joined up with food quality and topped off with menu and ingredient tested officianado (sp?) servers/bartenders alike it is an honor to reward all seen and unseen in this well oiled and executed food service experience with We are all Tip tip tip speak up . Not many people know the other side of food industry This buisness can NOT have one weak link , not one..... Love to be a part of a well executed staff. West side Wichita.... That's how it's done. Had a great time here then at the end of the night a friend of mine was very intoxicated. I was on my phone getting him an Uber home. Had one of the bartenders come up to the group and telling us we need to leave. Bar is closing. Ok no problem getting my intoxicated friend a way home. His truck was there and he would have driven is what would have happened. The bartender then pushed me. I asked her to keep her hands off me while I was fixing her mess as she over served her patron. She told me once he is outside the bar it doesn't matter. Then pushed him out the door. Well she is wrong and possibly needs to find a different profession. She started yelling at me snatched up my drink and got in my face. The bouncers came over quickly. They were professionals and didn't get out of hand. Thank you to them. But the owners/managers might want to train your bartenders that they are responsible for not only who you serve but also how much you serve them. Have not been back but I imagine I will...
