Sweet Pops — Restaurant in Wichita

I discovered this place a few months back, after my friend had introduced me to boba. I have bad anxiety when talking to strangers. Particularly servers at restaurants for some reason. I basically haven’t ordered my own food for years. I have to defer to whoever is with me to do so.

This is the first place I’ve been able to order for myself for a VERY long time. They have menus out on the counter and at first I was able to simply point at the option I wanted, a large taro milk tea with regular boba. (Since they’ve added Oreo taro I’ve been getting that, it’s delicious! Highly recommend!) I go in every week and now they recognize me when I go in. The employees are always smiling. They know me and they know my order.

I genuinely can’t put into words how much it means that they’re so accommodating. Their shop is so nice too, the art on the walls is beautiful, it’s always very quiet and calm in there. My weekly visits are a respite even if I’m not there for long. I’m hoping to be able to visit with my...

This isn’t your traditional, counter top, blender, and here’s your boba. This has been a lot of work put into your experience and product. The atmosphere is amazing. Walk off the street and into another world. The vibe truly makes you feel like you are walking into another country to experience this delight.

We were waited on by the owner who was friendly, polite, and quick to answer questions as well as make recommendations at our request. We ordered 3 drinks and all were delicious. Although I highly recommend the mango cheese cake with traditional boba ;)

This is a great addition to West Wichita and you won’t be disappointed. The cost is comparable to all boba shops in the city.

The owner asked me and my friends to rate sweetpops 5 stars but I don't think it worth 5 stars because sweetpops doesn't even have a happy hour...but tropical Smoothie has a happy hour every day for 2-3 hours so I can get a Smoothie half off, I would come more often if sweetpops had a happy hour 😊 but they don't so I go to tropical Smoothie after school, my whole basketball team like to get boba but 6$ is getting insane when I can pay 3$ for a Smoothie twice the size, so for right know sweetpops is a 4 out of 5 ..
