I had been going here for well over a decade. Evidently there is new management. My wife and I order the exact same thing everytime. Making our oder, has never been an issue. She doesn't like tomatoes, and I don't like sour cream. SUPER EASY. "I thought". We have always dined in. Used to find issues, rarely. They fixed it, no biggie. First time to go however, "the end". Got home to find the 3 tacos we ordered wrong. Simple fix, right? Nope! My wife called up, and spoke to a guy about our concern. We had asked to not put neither tomatoes or sour cream on any of the taco, and asked for those, simply on the side. Grabbed our order "order #30, by the way. They know the issue, just by that! Anyways, I overheard the conversation on the phone. I suggested that my wife drive the 20 minutes back to get a refund, because his attitude, uh.... Not good. I wouldn't have been able to get this resolved. He was so rude to my. "I guess I can fix it for you". "well, you did get it on the side" "you got what you ordered". The demeaning way he talked to her. I personally deal with a different customer every day with my work. I have never had such a rude and disrespectful response like this, especially here nor @ someone in his "manager" position. Very sad. Looking back @ owners replies, tells me when this changed. It used be, that it was NEVER an issue to fix it and apologize. That simple show of respect kept us coming back. Now when someone says something above an issue with their order, it's just a simple "okie dokie". Very sad. I thought it was lack of training @ first, but after seeing some previous postings. I can see the owner simply doesn't care. After all the years in Wichita. West side has grown around there. Hope they can turn it around someday. Don't expect anything out of this. They were even going question the refund, which was like $8 and change. Hell, wasted that much in gas! The response from this, if any, "sucks to be you" is what will happen! Read moreFirst off, I want to share I've been eating at Taco Pronto for years. I've always had great experiences. But on Sunday 7-10-2022 I had the worst experience anyone could ever imagine. So, I ordered the sancho deluxe, and a chicken soft taco for my son. We got our food, and I opened up my sons taco and the chicken was completely cold and full of fat. The cheese wasn't even melted. He took a bite and said eww Mom this tastes terrible. No problem, I thought. So, I bite into my sancho..its also cold. But, what makes matters worse is I realized there was no meat in it. Just cheese, and lettuce on the inside. Top was drizzled with sour cream, lettuce, chopped tomatoes, green onions, olives, and shredded cheese. I kindly asked if I could have some more sour cream. I had full intentions of paying for it. I said it was dry, and there was no meat inside. The lady at the register was VERY RUDE, and didn't offer to make the situation right. She just abruptly argued with me. I kindly asked for the manager and she said oh you will have to call on Monday. I said who is the manager currently ? She said I am right now. Then, I said well I'm sorry you can take back this sancho just throw it out. She took it back, but I left hungry and wasted money on food we never ate. Read moreWe ate there on 11/30/19 around 8:30 pm. My sister, who is on Hospice with brain tumors, fell while trying to sit down on her chair. The chair tipped forward when she sat on it, she leaned forward and the table tipped over, and down she went. Our drinks spilled everywhere. It made a loud racket. The couple sitting next to us jumped up and helped me get my sister up off the floor and back into her chair, and then helped me and my family run back and forth to get napkins to clean up the mess. Not ONE employee came out to see what was going on, or to ask if she was ok, or to help clean up the mess!!!! I finally went up and told the girl at the counter that she fell and we needed a rag. She still waited about 5 minutes and then she brought the rag out, but did not help us in any way, or ask if she was ok. They were not busy. After we had it all cleaned up I went up and asked to speak to the manager on duty, and told him what had happened and told him we need new drinks. He asked if she was ok and if she needed an ambulance. She did not get hurt, thankfully, except for a bump on the back of her head from hitting the wall, but still....he had no idea that any of that had gone on out in his lobby.
This was the first (and last) time I will eat there. I ordered the taco salad, and by the time we actually got to sit down and eat, our food was cold, and my taco shell was stale and soggy--it was...
