I was in town for a meeting, and a local friend recommended this restaurant to me, even pointing out a few dishes and drinks worth trying.

I arrived around 4 pm on a weekday and was seated immediately with no wait. The interior is spacious yet cozy, giving off the relaxed vibe of a bar-style restaurant.

Food and Drinks:

Blueberry Ale – A local draft served with fresh blueberries. Crisp, light, and refreshing, with just the right balance of fruitiness and sweetness. Unique, fun, and very enjoyable.

Meatloaf and Chicken Tenders – A house specialty made from the owner’s grandmother’s recipe. Chicken Tenders: Juicy and tender inside, coated with a perfectly crispy batter. The honey mustard dipping sauce complemented them beautifully. Meatloaf: Well-seasoned and flavorful, tender yet hearty with excellent texture. The red sauce provided a nice balance of salty and sweet that worked perfectly with the savory meat. Sides: Creamy mashed potatoes with white gravy were smooth and comforting, while the fried onions added a satisfying crunch and extra depth of flavor.

Overall, this was an excellent early dinner. The food was well-prepared, the drinks were memorable, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality food and drinks in a relaxed setting. I’ll be sure to return on my next visit...

I read a lot of good reviews in the Wichita restaurant FB group so I figured we'd try Bricktown Brewery tonight. Just finally received our order through UberEats.

Pros: Nice seasoning/flavor. Nice sized portions although the chicken fingers were actually really big chicken strips. A LOT for a small kid so hopefully it'll still be good tomorrow

Cons: The food was COLD. I am currently reheating my "chopped and chipped nachos" in my toaster oven so I can actually enjoy them hot.

The delivery driver, Jenna, was very delayed. UE ended up sending us an apology & a $10 credit before the food even got here.

Hubby loved the chicken fried chicken & mashed potatoes despite it being cold. Not crazy about the green beans.

Bricktown Brewery forgot our drinks (which keeps happening with certain reataurants when we order through UE so I'm done ordering beverages. 🙄) A lemonade, which they charged us for and the soft drink that was supposed to come with our kids' meal.

They should really pay attention to the notes on the orders since BB doesn't give you the option to specify what kind of soft drink you want with the meal. Guess it wouldn't matter though since they forgot them. IF we order from them again, we will...

Came for lunch on a Thursday. It was pretty busy but the 2 of us were greeted somewhat quickly. I had the bacon guacamole burger and regular french fries. I was not impressed by either. The fries were dry and the burger had so much lettuce that you couldn't even eat the burger. It was also pretty bland as far as seasoning goes. Did taste the sweet potato fries and they were much better and the fried okra was delicious. The server didn't clean one single cup or plate from our table. Being a server in the past I was always taught to clear the table before you bring the check. He didn't even take one of our empty glasses, there were 4 sitting empty on the edge of the table to be removed. We even stacked the plates nicely for easy removal and every time he completely ignored it and left them in front of us. By they time we walked out there were 6 empty glasses sitting on the table. I would say the service staff needs retrained, in my opinion....

Been meaning to try this place for a while. Finally able to make it in. Great bar atmosphere and plenty of TV's for the sports fans. Sat quickly and servers were with us almost immediately to take our drink order. Everything arrived quickly and accurately. Tried two of their house beers, were unique and had great flavors. Started with the cheese curd appetizers, some of the best I've had in Wichita, great crust and delicious cheese. Tried the spicy chicken sandwich, the mac and cheese with shrimp and the chicken fingers. Got both regular and sweet potato fries. One of the best chicken sandwiches I've hand, only complaint would be it wasn't particularly spicy but tasted incredible, the slaw brought the whole Sandwich together. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Mac n cheese used a flavorful cheese and was cooked perfect. Overall, amazing food, great service and terrific atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. It is slightly pricey but worth every penny.

Let me start with the bad. The beers made by Bricktown were not that great, and in some cases were bad. Not like the lines in the taps were bad, it was just bad beer. They do have a few good beers from other breweries (namely Avery's white) however, so you can get something good if you search. Now the bad/good. It took waaay longer than they estimated to get a table, however because of our wait, they offered us a free appetizer on the house (without us complaining about the time at all). Now for the good. The food was very very good. My chicken tenders were cooked perfectly, the fries were good, nachos with bbq pork were excellent, as was the fried okra (which was much better than any I've had in a restaurant that wasn't in the south). Only complaint about the food is that the cole slaw was nearly tasteless. Overall, a good experience. Don't go for their beers.
