The Humidor Cocktail Lounge — Restaurant in Wichita

I am giving two stars only for their selection which was good. Service wouldn't get any stars. Young guy working on Friday night acted as if we were interrupting his cigar smoking. No help with cigars at all. I thought he was being a dic*, but my husband said he just didn't have any personality. Cigar places need to take lessons from the Cigar Shop in Old Town. The guy there is friendly, helpful, and wants your business! Update So, we have been going to the Cigar Chateau out east, but out of convenience being by your place, stopped in to get cigars. Once again, why do you people have an issue with women going in to buy cigars? The chubby drunk worker came in there and just stood there and stared at me. Said NOTHING!!!! When my husband came in, he spoke to him. My husband asked him about a specific cigar, and he was helping him and I looked at my husband and mouthed NO, so we left. If you cannot treat the wife with respect, who knows what he wants, but yet you cannot speak to her, the wife who makes just as much money as the husband, than you do not deserve any of our money. Fantastic, old-school place. I could spend all day here! They have a great selection of cigars, AND pipe tobacco (which is my tobacco of choice). Wonderful selection of bourbon at reasonable prices. You pay a dollar or two more per drink, but, it's well worth it. Nice leather chairs, indoor and outdoor seating, friendly and knowledgeable staff. 10/10, would highly recommend. I went in just for the tobacco, but because it was so nice, I sat and had a drink and enjoyed a smoke.

The owners have no idea what they're doing when it comes to running a cocktail lounge. They also refuse to listen to those with experience & treat staff poorly. They under pay, they can't retain employees, they invite friends just to comp drinks/food/cigars just to wonder why they make no money from their business, they make old staff train new comers & fire the orginal employee without warning or reason & they've been through 4 managers in less than a year. The setting is nice if it's actually clean & drinks are good if made properly, but it's a toxic environment whether you work there or not. They let drunk customers ruin the experience...
