We got our chips and salsa right away. They must mix in their old chips with a new batch because I occasionally bit into very stale chips. Our waitress came over and asked us what we wanted to drink. My husband order a diet Dr pepper and water. I order tea with lime. She was already walking away before I could finish and only said tea as she was walking away. I told my husband there won't be lime, just wait. She brought my husband's water and a diet coke and my tea minus lime. She then went back to get the drink my husband ordered. She came back a few minutes later while we were still looking at the menus asking what we wanted to order. We said we needed a few minutes but... Before I could finish and ask for lime, she walked away. My husband ordered the pescado Veracruz. I order the junior Felipe special with beef. While our waitress was there, I asked again for lime. She brought me another tea but with lemon. I hadn't even drank but maybe one sip of my first tea. When our food arrived she was back at the table and I said a third time, may I have some lime please. It's this time she actually heard me. Oh you want lime? YES! It took another 10 minutes before the lime arrived. Now we've eaten at Felipe's plenty but it has been a while... Menu changed and so did their food. Ground beef now had potatoes in it which although I know that's authentic Mexican, I thoroughly dislike it. It wasn't like that before that I remember and had I known, I wouldn't have ordered what I did. It's not mentioned anywhere that I saw in the menu. Mushy, tasteless potatoes do not do anything for beef but act as filler and the beef was bland as well. The cheese on top of the lettuce was completely melted together, the tiny amount that there was. When cheese melts in top of cold lettuce, that means the food sat under the heat lamps a while. Hubby's food was dry, completely painted in paprika which normally he likes but there was just too much. He offered to swap with me but I'm allergic to the shrimp on top of his tilapia. He said the best thing in his plate was the guac and he isn't fond of that normally. His rice was dry. The waitress took my husband's empty water glass saying she would bring more but never did. His diet Dr pepper was soon empty as well and never refilled. Neither of us finished our food. This wasn't the best experience. I doubt we...

Read moreThis is my typical go-to place for Mexican food. I love their tacos but my last two experiences are starting to change my view. The previous experience I asked for no salsa on my tacos because it was a to go order and I didn't want them soggy and they put salsa on them. No big deal but today, after my mom got out of surgery, she wanted Felipe's so I picked up for the whole family. I looked up their menu on their web page and one order was the two burrito meal. I only received one burrito and was charged for the two. I called and the girl on the phone kept saying "I don't know. We only have thr one burrito or the jumbo." I reiterated that their menu does not say that. She kept saying "i don't know- this paper only says one" and then asked me to hold. No one came back. I would dispute the charge if the other food hadn't been adequate. I guess I should have looked at the food before I left. I gave a tip as well. Guess I won't do that again on a...
