Having a guy like Mike, the owner of Thesis Audio Service in Wichita, is an amazing privilege. Other people have to pay to send their stuff to him from all over the country, but we can just walk right in.
His prices are fair, and the work done on my vintage Peavy tube amp was completed and ready for pick-up amazingly fast.
I had no issues whatsoever, but I will say: given my personal interactions with him and seeing what a kind and cheerful guy he is every time we spoke. I would say that anyone who has given him a less than 5 star rating is just making excuses for their own unreasonable character and their inability to be satisfied or see things the right way, regardless of what anyone may do to try to reasonably satisfy them.

After giving him the time he needed to repair it, I returned to pick it up. When I went to try it out, within five minutes of use, it was having very noticeable issues similar to the issues before the repair.
