The waitress' service was not good at all. We were seated in a back corner away from all the other guests so whenever we needed to get her attention it was very hard. It was also made harder by the fact that she never even told us her name. While taking our order she was not knowledgeable about the menu and had to go ask a manager. While ordering I asked for a small milk to be delivered with my meal. While waiting on our food I noticed an ad on the tabletop for a Dole juice blend and thought it sounded good. It took a while to get her attention but I asked if my milk had been poured yet. It had not, so I asked to change the milk order to juice. Yet again she had to ask a manager if this was possible. I understand that she may need to ask things if she is new but she gave us attitude about it both times. Then she brings out my juice...significantly before my meal. I had specifically asked when originally ordering for my drink to be brought with my meal. When we get our ticket, I see that I was charged for a large juice even though I had ordered a small. I thought, no big deal, they'll fix it at the register. When I got to the register, our waitress was there to check us out. I pointed out the overcharge and she says, yes but I brought you a large. Okay...but I ordered a small and I don't eat here often enough to know what the sizes are. I told her I originally order a small milk to be brought with my meal. All I asked to change was from milk to juice yet you changed the whole order from small to large and brought it out long before my food. So, she went to get a manager who came to the register with her mind set to not correct the bill. I assume this because she didn't even bring her key card that she needed to do it. After explaining to her the whole situation, she still tried to insist that I had to pay for the large because that is what the waitress brought to me. I had to point out to her that the waitress' service was not good and that I shouldn't be paying for the waitress' mistake. I really wanted to ask her if people also get charged extra when the wrong food is delivered to their table. She finally agreed to correct it and had to go get the key card. The only reason we went to IHop is because I had a coupon. The only good thing about our visit was the food. But it's not any better than Village Inn and that's where I'll take my business in the future...coupon...
Read moreIt's Christmas evening. My family and I drive in from Augusta to try and enjoy a meal. It's busy, but I expect that. About 10 minutes later we are seated along with an individual patron. We are seated at 2 tables beside each other. A server walks up to the individual patrons table and takes his drink order. The server returns with his drink and takes his order. My wife and I are trying to figure out who our server is. Finally someone comes to our table and takes our drink and food order(since we had about 10 minutes to look at the menu). Soon after the individual patron receives his order. I wait another several minutes before I wave down a different server. I ask her if I can get my drinks. She promptly walks to the beverage station and gets tbe drinks. About five minutes later our server comes walking up with drinks. Shen then apologizes and says she or someone will be out with our food. Meanwhile our neighbor finished his dinner. Around 45 munutes have past since we first sat down. Our coffee pot has been empty for some time. My son has drank all his chocolate milk. Finally, when the individual patron looks like he is about to leave, we decide to just leave. We proceeded to go to the Burger King a few buildings away. I wasn't even certain our orfer got put in. We waited for what seemed nearly an hour and couldn't believe the service. I enjoy IHOP, but this experience was horrid. I'm sorry, but please do...
Read moreMy mother is in the hospital and she requested one of her favorite things which is some pancakes from ihop. To my surprise this is the 3rd the 3rd time I have ordered for her. Today the online services were down which I don't like anyway and I called to place an order at this location. I spoke to the staff and they said the restaurant was completely dead but they could not take my order over the phone. I asked to speak to the manager which I did she also said the restaurant was completely dead but she cannot take my order over the phone. Which tells me this ihop is not interested in doing business So this tells me this ihop is not interested in doing business. So I am sharing this for people who like pancakes to suggest you pursue some of these competitors there's 10 of them in town that provide the same services who are willing to do business and have an interest in doing business. I can totally see why this ihop is sitting completely dead at 7:00 in the morning on a weekday this manager should be fired and this policy should be abandoned. If you want call in orders to collect their payment on orders have them pay up front non refundable. Ihop has no interest in creating solutions in this policy they created over a year ago just cut out the entire percentage of their take out business. So I will not do business with this I hop ever...
