KFC — Restaurant in Wichita

Talk about a bad start to my day! Trying to get a 3 pc with fries. Got a drink. Lid wasn’t on tight and then got my meal about a minute later. Tried to put my drink away only to see that the cup edge was defective or damaged and didn’t let the lid sit right and all over my lap! So after driving home wearing my drink. I thought ok well the food is still good. Nope, I got fries with my meal and they were the soggiest, saltiest, and smallest order I have received with a meal. Forget the fries…I still have this extra crispy chicken. Nope…the wing was super dry like a mini breast chicken was hiding a wing! Time to the cats the wing. Next the thigh…I thought I got the colonels original recipe but nope, it was extra skimpy and extra oily. Not only was it missing half the breading, which I did look in the box to see it it slid off with the oil!?! Nope…it’s just missing but the chicken almost slipped out of my hand becuase the whole half of the thigh looked like it was sitting at the bottom of warmer and they reached to the very bottom and found the only thigh they had left to serve me. Now…granted I am starving and now the cats are sharing a two piece and I have to get ready for work. I am throwing the last piece in the fridge in hopes I can throw it in the oven and recook it myself!! So, it’s going to a very long time till I come back and am sticking to a chicken place I know will give me quality food from start to finish!! Oh one more thing!!! What happened to giving folks a packet of butter and honey?? I was going to try and eat that on the way to work but they can’t even add that in there unless they don’t do that...

Food, atmosphere and cashier were great. The manager was another story. I ordered chicken fried steak for my father, who is nearly 80 yrs old and has trouble breathing, he wanted white gravy on the steak and brown gravy on the mashed potatoes. The manager was preparing the meals and as I inspected the food, it was all wrong. Brown gravy was everywhere. Another older gentleman came up and complained that his had white gravy everywhere. Instead of being kind, the manager lost his cool with both of us. I had to pay extra for the 2 different gravies, what was supposed to be a meal for $3.99, cost me almost $8.00. The manager then threw my order of a 2 piece chicken meal on another counter around the corner that I didn't know was there until I asked. The manager at this location should not be dealing with customers if he can't be kind and not lose control at customers. I have eaten at KFC for years and now, because of that horrible man, I will...

I only ordered a 3 piece chicken meal, with corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a famous bowl meal. I asked for no pickles on the sandwich. I even confirmed it with 2 people twice. I drove out of my way to go here, and we realized course, once we were all the way home that there were pickles on the sandwich, and we only got 2 pieces of chicken, and 2 things of corn. Any good manager would replace someone’s meal. This manager said we’d have to bring the food back. Lol. So now I have to go out of my way a second time to get 1 lousy piece of chicken, and some mashed potatoes. I didn’t realize the sandwich had the pickles until I’d already hung up with the manager. I’m sure he’d want the sandwich back to replace it though....
