I give this specific Pizza Hut a 2 star only because I called the next day and got 1000% better customer service.
I arrived here to pickup a carryout order about 20 minutes before closing time. When I arrived Casey, Cassie, KC (not sure of the spelling) had an appearance that she looked like she had a long day, was on the phone with a customer and was very rude towards them, rolling her eyes and very short with her answers. Once she completed the call and assisted me I asked if there was any substitute I could have with them being out of breadsticks that come with the pasta I ordered? She said she already compensated me taking the breadsticks off. However, the cost was still the same, $8.99. When I brought that to to her attention she rolled her eyes and went to the other register to try to prove her false point that the price was different. To her surprise, it was the same cost. To sum it up she was very rude and non accomodating; she let me know it wasn't her fault they were out of breadsticks, questioned why I would expect to be compensated for breadsticks (that cost $5.99 if purchased separately), told me there was nothing she could do for me (no 2 liter, no dessert, no wings, no pizza) NOTHING, and that I could just take it up with corporate and their number would be on my reciept. I asked her for her name, she let me know the total again and I respectfully declined the goods due to the lack of her customer service. She greeted me with a very sarcastic and dry "Have a great night" and proceeded with a "Thanks for wasting my time"
I left and proceeded to the next Pizza Hut before they closed where I received my pasta AND breadsticks for $8.99. I also called to report Casey and to my surprise she's in management there! I explained to Katelynn what happened and Katelynn was apologetic about the situation, and made it up on behalf of Casey. Read moreIt pains me to write this because the pizza wasn't bad but the delivery service stinks. Pizza hut needs to change their policy or they WILL lose more customers. First policy change deliver range... I have a Pizza Hut that is exactly one mile to the east of me and another that is .7 tenths of a one mile to the west of me. The east one which is exactly one mile from me is the much higher rated and better performing Pizza Hut. The one I'd ideally rather order from but I assumed to protect franchisees they don't allow me to take a delivery from that one and I have to order from the one to the west of my house. First policy change if I'm within two to five miles of a given Pizza Hut they should deliver regardless of the other Pizza Huts that are close to me.
Anyways, I placed delivery order today and the manager took my order, she was patient courteous and kind. I found myself thinking hey maybe this location has a bad rep however when the delivery person showed up he parked in my driveway and his car leaked oil all over my driveway. Then he didn't have the decent courtesy to come back and let me know hey sorry sir I leaked oil all over your driveway. Luckily I saw it so now I'm out here cleaning this oil off of my driveway so it doesn't stain. Pizza Hut's second policy change delivery parking location... delivery drivers shouldnot be allowed to pull into the customer's driveway. Read moreThis place doesn't deserve a one star for food. I arrived a little early to get my pizza therefore I didn't mind waiting. Nonetheless, most Pizza Huts have always had my order ready ahead of time. It was 10 minutes before my pick up time and only half of my order was ready. I ordered 4 boxes of pizzas at 10:30 that morning, pick up was to be at 5 pm. Honestly I believe I received someone else's boxes of pizza because one of my pizzas was wrong when it came to the crust, I ordered a thin crust cheese pizza. I don't want to make a long post but this was my first time at this Pizza Hut and I will not be back. Customer service was awful when handling the dispute of spoiled chicken and undercooked pizza. Now those pizzas were supposed to be thin crust all three. So if you're ordering from here really check your order before leaving. There policy is to bring back the messed up pizza which in my case I wasn't able to for it defeated the purpose of me ordering ahead of time.
