I recently just visited this place and I was super excited since it was my first time visiting and experiencing something like this. On of my friends bought this place to my attention and I just had to come and try it out. All I have to say from the moment you walk in, to every moment after was a wonderful experience. My friends and I had trouble choosing from their wonderful choices of teas so one of the lady's offered us to get a sample of different choices of tea (5 teas I believe) all aroma from the teas smelled really nice my favorite was a vanilla chi with salted Carmel and cream. They brought out a tomato soup that was delicious. One of my friends is allergic to cinnamon and they switch one of the dessert out for her very nice of then to do that. Then they brought out the savory snacks and the dessert. I loved that everything was small, It was very filling. My favorite savory was the roasted chicken and cranberry croissant. The scones with strawberry jam and cream. The desserts were all delicious I had trouble choosing which one I liked most. Most likely we will be going back again hopefully by spring we would like to experience an outdoor tea gathering in the garden area. From the staff to the delicious treats and the aroma of the tea. Everything felt magical in a way. Here's some pictures.

We attended the afternoon tea service today, and it was nothing short of wonderful! Our hostess and her assistant were delightful, accommodating l, and constantly ensured all of our needs and wants were met. The atmosphere was comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had our choice of loose leaf or bagged teas to choose from, and the staff did well to offer both choices to us each time we required a refill for our pot. The food was wonderful and ample portions were available for each guest! We were given cookies and charcuterie to start, then we were served our tea tray. The sandwiches were delicious and filling, the scones with the cream, jam, and lemon curd were sensational, and the desserts were a wonderful variety of sweetness from the house tarts, to the macarons and chocolate-covered strawberries. We are absolutely impressed with our experience with The French Tearoom, and I highly recommend it for anyone who is a tea enthusiast, wants a girl’s day out, or to celebrate an occasion.

Truly an experience everyone needs to have at least once in their lifetime! We were celebrating a good friend’s birthday and I’m so glad we went to The French Tearoom! The host, Marie was amazing! Her energy and enthusiasm was contagious. You can feel her passion for afternoon tea. The location was beautifully decorated. We had our afternoon tea in the main room and we were more than happy with the room. We selected the La Royale option and had plenty of food and tea! And we got a tasty gooseberry drink as well! My favorite from the food we ate was the caviar bites and lemon dessert. I loved how Marie included a little trivia during the afternoon tea. It really educated us on the culture and created an immersive atmosphere. I definitely recommend booking an afternoon tea if you have a special event coming up. It’s well worth the experience!

So glad there is finally a tearoom back in Wichita! The atmosphere and ambiance is beautiful and lovely. When the weather cools off, the patio will be a wonderful location to have tea because they have set it up so nicely. Being on a tea tour to various states this summer, I can confirm that the food here is just as delicious as any other deluxe tea experience in other cities, like Seattle and Washington, DC. The price is on the high side. Paid the same at the Ritz-Carlton in DC, in fact! But, there could be improvements (and this is what I've noticed at other tea rooms, not just French Tearoom). Please offer a variety of food that is different in texture and flavor, and not just bread heavy. Biggest downer - no chocolate items. If I'm paying $60+pp, there should be a chocolate tart, cookie, brownie, truffle or small mousse cup in there somewhere; maybe even several. Sorbet or cheesecake textures can also be good alternatives. Also, some people don't like fruity desserts. There just needs to be a variety so everyone gets something they like. Going all in with berry flavors on every dessert leaves those who don't like berries with nothing to eat. Final note - this place is not rambunctious child-friendly or for anyone requiring ADA-friendly facilities. It's a converted, 2-story home with a lot of steps and fragile china everywhere. Definitely no room for strollers inside. So, just be aware and leave the kids at home if they can't sit still for a...

The best birthday I've ever had, and it’s all thanks to TFT!

Ria and the entire staff at this charming French tearoom made every guest feel not only welcome but celebrated. Their warmth, liveliness, and care created the most magical atmosphere I could have dreamed of. The decor was stunning, full of whimsical charm and thoughtful details (the fun hats were such a delightful touch!). Plenty of photo ops everywhere!

Truly, this was the best birthday party I’ve ever had. Nothing will ever top it. From the peaceful outdoor space to the heartfelt activity of writing letters at the end, every moment felt special and full of meaning.

The teas were divine, masterfully blended, rich in flavor, and selected with such personal care. Ria even helped us try something new, and not a single item on the menu disappointed. Every bite was exquisite. Our group had special dietary needs, and communicating with TFT over email was very easy and comfortable. They accommodated and curated their veggie menu just for us.

I left feeling full, joyful, and genuinely at peace. I'm still glowing from the experience, and I already can’t wait to return. Ria is a beautiful soul, and TFT is a treasure.

10/10. Absolutely...
