This is a super nice place to go in the winter, so cozy, warm, and comfortable that I felt super relaxed almost like being sleepy, yet energized and fresh while getting my work done for the day. My server, Callie, made my tea with lemons perfectly just the special way I wanted it every time, even though I had refill after refill after an early morning run and the workday with almost nothing to drink. I never visited this restaurant before they hired me to do some professional work for them last year, because I had heard false info from haters. But then one of my dear friends helped me realize it was actually the opposite! All of their employees I have met so far are incredibly amazing, talented, hard-working top-notch people, business leaders, athletes, figure skaters, models, top students in college. They have the highest standards, absolutely totally inspirational. Don't believe anything bad you hear. This place is classy and terrific. I've even invested in their new stock offering now because I believe in their quality. The only downside is a limited selection of food offerings, but the great menu items they do have like the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich are utterly delicious, and I can even add my favorite toppings, too! Thank you Callie, for giving me your card today to write this review! Thank you to you and to all of you for all the wonderful things you do for our community! Everyone is so friendly that it is so encouraging to stop by, almost like getting a therapy session, except better! When I feel overwhelmed like I have too much work to possibly get done, sometimes I bring it there to do, and I always am more productive than anywhere else! It's like having friends to cheer you on...
Read moreTwin Peaks is always a fun spot to go. The girls are attractive and dressed in somewhat skimpy outfits, as you would expect. They all are fun and friendly. ..And young...pretty girls who are very eager to serve you and get to know you, if you a regular. Everybody has their favorite girls too. The food is always consistent. Likewise it is served in ample servings at a reasonable price. It is my favorite Sports Bar in Wichita. They have around 35 to 40 big screen TVs to watch all the games geing broadcast. Also more of the same if you want to have outdoor seating on nice days. If it is cool....there are heaters that can be utilized. Love going there to watch Our State Schools play football, basketball, and baseball. PRO Teams are broadcast too. Boxing, MMA FIGHTS, SOCCER, TENNIS TOO. OCCASIONAL RACING AND GOLF WILL BE SHOWN ON SOME OF THE SCREENS. OBVVIOUSLY, WICHITA STATE, KU, KSU AND OKLAHOMA SOONERS AND OKLA ST. ALL HAVE BIG FAN FOLLOWINGS. AND YES THE SCENERY IS GREAT. KIDS ARE TAKEN IN WITH FAMILIES AND THAT DOES NOT PRESENT ANY PROBLEMS. QUITE A FEW FAMILIES CHOOSE...
Read moreI've always liked the chicken strips but decided to go with the chicken and shrimp for the first time. The shrimp were really, really good and absolutely jumbo. Some of the largest I've been served as a standard menu item where you weren't paying a super high premium for jumbo size. There were 5 total, which isn't far off from other places on quantity but I'd say those 5 were as much or more to eat as the last time I had 2 skewers of six for a total of 12 shrimp from a different establishment. Adding shrimp was like $3 so I mean, no brainer for future and I highly recommend it. I might try grilled shrimp next time and blackened is the 3rd option. I also asked for the rice pilaf, which was eclectic taste and I thought it was ok, it's probably not going to be my favorite side, but definitely wasn't bad. Just doesn't trigger my taste buds as well. Anyway, the food was great and server probably stopped 8 or 9 times by my table and did it without making me feel like they were being intrusive, so very...
