Tired the Chicken Florentine, and it lived up to expectations. The char on the chicken is perfect, and the spinach cream sauce atop my dish is phenomenal. The risotto was kinda disappointing, but everything else is beyond delicious. The vegetables tasted fresh and crisp. All in all, a great dish. Mondays are usually a day I like to do lunch, so for today I decided to try Bella Luna Cafe for a second time. My first visit I was actually quite impressed. This time around was just as impressive as the last time. I ended up ordering the Tilapia Almondine. For starters when I eat out for fish it's hit and miss, and what I'll say about this tilapia is it's really in-between. The crust was kinda soggy and not crisp like I expected. It did have some good seasoning to it but I didn't taste it in every bite. That's besides the point, because everything else on this dish was beyond my expectations. For starters the couscous blew me away. It was packed with flavor with a good amount of spice to it. And the dill cream sauce, umm chefs kiss. Sauteed vegetables cooked perfectly which contained green beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and onions. But the star of this dish was that cream sauce. I couldn't get enough of it.

Allie, my server, was cheerful and efficient. Bella Luna's Bella Maggi Salad is my favorite dish at this restaurant. It includes artichokes, tomatoes, carmelized pecans, and thin sheets of parmesan. I usually request either grilled salmon or grilled chicken. I have only had one badly prepared Bella Maggi. Today, I was served my second. My salad did not feature any artichokes or pecans. I could have overlooked that omission with a nicely grilled and flavorful grilled salmon filet. It was neither nicely grilled nor flavorful. I took a chance on the less rare portion of the fish, but left the remainder. When Allie asked if I'd like to take the rest of my salad home, I confessed it was undercooked. She immediately apologized and offered to return it to the kitchen or call for the manager. Having lost my appetite, I declined both of her professional, yet kind offers. Without any request by me, Allie deducted the cost of the salmon from my bill. In return, I provided a 50% tip. I will return to Bella Luna - West, where the salmon is always grilled to perfection.

We ordered food from Bella Luna's through the door dash app. When my boyfriend went to pick up the food, he noticed the bag was a bit off. The majority of the sauce from his box fell out and at the bottom of the bag was a vape, covered in sauce. My boyfriend and I don't vape, so it was extremely weird as we couldn't tell if it was from the door dasher or the bella Luna's staff vape. The bag was not tied so we couldn't pin point the blame. We did not eat the food, we reported the incident to the door dash app and are currently waiting for a response. We didn't call Bella Luna as we ordered through a third party source, however I hope this review reaches them and learn to tie their to-go orders next time.

We stopped in to Lunas for a late lunch this weekend. I ordered their pasta diablo and my partner ordered the carbonara. We also ordered cocktails. My partner's melon margarita was served in a salted pint glass. I've had a few margaritas in my time and only in the least desirable places have I been served a margarita in a pint glass (plastic cup for equally professional consideration). Lunas has a full bar BTW. I'm not sure what they're thinking. On to the pasta. My diablo was delicious. I'm used to this dish served with standard penne and a healthy amount of spicy sauce. Luna's recipe doesn't offer much sauce and it packs a skinny version of penne. That's not to knock their dish. It works and I'd order it again. Their carabonara, on the other hand, did not meet the mark. By that I mean, what they serve does not meet the definition of what carabonara is suppose to be. The dish certainly does have some variations depending on where you go but Luna pushes that boundary beyond an acceptable format for the title. Luna serves a plate of macaroni with peas and mushrooms for their version of carabonara. It's not way off the mark, but I don't think it should be called carabonara. It's an okay dish. They serve it a little on the spicy side. But they should consider calling it something else. Like what it is: macaroni with peas and mushrooms! In the end, the manager didn't charge us for the dish. The service was polite, professional, and courteous. The interior is stylish and comfortable and it looked like they have outdoor patio seating for when it gets warmer. I'd like to stop over again for some cocktails and appetizers on a warm...

I have been bragging about this place to my husband for over 2 years. I usually meet up with my girlfriends here. So tonight for our anniversary we decided this is where we would go. I was so excited for him to try the six cheese pasta. The host tried to sit us specifically where I asked not to be sat. Then the waitress was very abrupt. When I asked for a few moments to review the drink menu etc she kept asking questions. I finally had to say he has never been here. come back in one minute. Then I ordered my wine, I repeated it twice and then because she seemed confused pointed to it. It was on the WHITE wine list. She brings me a red of some kind and when I said it was wrong she argued with me and I said it is red I ordered a white. Our appetizer came out and was only there about 2 minutes and she brings our entrees. Pauses and says is it ok to bring these so fast? Like if we said no would they have left them under heat lamps? The food was good. Usually is. portions have gotten smaller in the last year. Skimpier on the ingredients. I do not mind paying a fair or even higher price for a dinner but it needs to be worth its value. The waitress also mid dinner came up behind me and asked in a hurried and fairly loud tone if all was ok. It was jarring. The table we picked had some privacy with a window shade, that half way through dinner they opened and we were sitting next to 2 people on the patio like I felt we were at the same table all the sudden. The food was good and with my husband as company was the only saving factor to our...

I have been a long time fan. Recently however that has changed. My last 3 visits have been disappointing. Three or four months ago I ordered a green bean and mushroom side with my meal and it came out with couscous. When i asked for it to be corrected the waiter argued with me and told me it was green beans and mushrooms and wouldn't change it. I'm not a chef but I can tell the difference between the two dishes as i expect most people could. They're not really similar. The next visit I ordered a Jack and 7. I've been ordering it this way for nearly 50 years in all kinds of bars and eateries and can't remember a single problem. My server brought the 7 up (Sierra mist) as a soft drink in a typical soft drink glass. When i questioned this she said she didn't know what jack and 7 meant. I explained it was a cocktail made of Jack Daniels mixed with 7-up. Her reply was "I'll ask the bartender and see if we can make that. Tonight, the third recent visit, I had the chicken scalopini. The sauce was horrible. Tasted like someone poured chicken broth over the noodles. I have had this dish there in the past and the sauce was rich and creamy with excellent flavor. Tonight the sauce was thin, the fats had separated into little pools and the flavor was not anything like what it has been. Despite the good history i have at this restaurant i believe the 3rd time was the charm. I won't...
