This is not the first time this is maybe the 5th time that I call Best Buy and it's not even possible to get someone to pick up the phone. Before I have called and I've had to click up number to go to another and click another number and another number and be on hold and on hold and on hold and there's really no service. Even when I've gone to the store this place is very regimented like it's a military base and everybody's treated like scum or the enemy practically if you ask for anything a little abnormal or a little different or maybe you're asking more detailed questions than most people do like I do because I'm born a child prodigy and we think differently. So many people today take offense when people ask questions they'll often say to me will other people don't ask this question why are you asking me this question. And I say something like so you think everybody is the exact same thinks the same and they really should be asking only questions that others have asked you? Isn't that unreasonable it really is tiring to deal with people who have not even graduated kindergarten and act as if they have a right to dominate you and control your life. I think it is the effect of the covid shots. I've been reading about it for the past few years and truly so many people have had these shots and some I know who have been forced to have these shots which is so Criminal. And all of the research I've seen from people around the world and from doctors and specialists say how extremely unsafe they are and how they are killing people and making them very sick and crazy. But the people at Best Buy staff have been unhelpful for more than a decade before even covid so there's no excuse. Whatever happened to companies in America actually having people answer their phone with people who have English as their native tongue and are not with such heavy accents you can't comprehend one word or maybe one out of three? Why should we have to have people who cannot comprehend our English and we can't comprehend theirs answering the phone? Because the people who own the companies are from different countries and hiring people from their country. Or they're being outsourced to call centers in different countries. To me this can only be done by men and women who are not true americans. When I heard of Mike the pillow guy doing everything on this country and you can call and get someone who speaks English clearly because it is their native tongue, I wondered again why aren't all men and women who are creating companies on this country being honorable like Mike the pillow guy? Now a lot of it comes from the fact that people who are customers who are buyers do not require and do not demand for their stores to give them good customer service or to give them good products or to treat them properly respectfully professionally adequately and efficiently. A lot of the problem has to do with the people on this country who are truly cognitive dissident and not demanding respect as they should. How do I know this? Because when I have stood up for someone or when I have stood up for my right as a customer or as a guest and the corporation representative is not treating me properly or not doing what was said in the agreement, other customers will side with the corporate representative who starts insulting me to say well you're causing a problem and also of course I'm not I'm standing up for my rights. And I believe everyone then starts siding with the corporate representative and start slandering and insulting and really bullying me. It is absolute insanity. If men only knew that they have rights and they knew what those rights are every one of these people would have said to me she, thank you so much for standing up for what is right for what is good and for what is truthful and then they would say to the corporate staff you need to stop being disrespectful to her and you need to give her what the company said they would do. It is not her being disrespectful it is you breaching the contract. If she gives you money for something and she...
Read moreOn Febuary 25th I bought a diswasher that was marked down in price due to a scratch on the door. I also paid an additional $100 for a 3 year service plan. I took it home and installed it, but found it wouldn't run because it was missing the door latch. It also did not seem to form a good seal on one of the corners. I immediately called Best Buy support to use my service plan i had purchased. They told me that they would mark me down for service on March 7th. They also said that because it was a brand new product that was unusable, they would escalate my case and would have someone out within 3 days. They said they would call me the day of and work the details out. After i waited 4 days without hearing from them, i called them back and asked why i had not been helped yet. They informed me that i was marked for expedited service, but they simply had no technicians available so i would likely have to wait for the 7th. I went back to the store on Rock Road and spoke with the manager about my situation. She offered to replace my washer with a new one at a discount. The discount did not reach the previous "open box" price i already had, but it was an ok price for a brand new device. She informed me that they had none in stock at the moment, but said they would deliver one to me on March 4th. This was better than waiting for the 7th so i accepted the offer. On the morning of the 4th another manager called me and said the diswasher did not arrive to the store on the shipment, and said they wouldn't be able to bring it until the 7th. I canceled my entire order, drove to Lowes, found the same washer at the same price, and had it home and working within 2 hours.
None of the Best Buy workers i interacted with were unpleasant or rude. They tried to help me, but unfortunately, despite their good intentions, it was one of the worst shopping experiances i have ever had. I will no longer use Best Buy for any...
Read moreI went in and purchased a MacBook for school on 1/11/22. It is now 1/18/22 and still no update in sight on when I will receive it. I was unaware that the delivery of the laptop would be outsourced to a different company and a signature was required. I have never had anything delivered to my home before at least 5pm so I figured I would be home by the time it was being delivered as they do not give you a timeframe. They tried to deliver the laptop while I was still at work so they returned it to the sender. No biggie, I called the sender (Best Buy) to set up another delivery and just asked to pick the laptop up in store instead. The nice gentleman I spoke to said that would not be a problem and the pickup was for the same day. About a hour later I get an email that they are out of stock of said laptop and would notify me when they were back in stock. I used the chat system on my Best Buy account as I purchased the Best Buy total tech membership and asked what was going on. I was told to ignore the email and that the laptop was still being prepared for pick up same day. I go after work to pick up the laptop, they do not have the laptop in the store and told me to wait for the email Confirming the laptop was ready to be picked up. I bought this laptop for school on 01/11/22 and school has now started 01/18/22 and I have no laptop. It is an online school.. thanks Best Buy. Oh and it still saying “preparing. We will email you when the product is ready to be picked up” forget about calling the store. The store rep told me you can no longer get ahold of the store. The numbers all lead to their international call center where no one knows what is going on. I have spoke to about 5 different people and they all say the same thing “please wait for the email and you should be receiving it either today or tomorrow” they have been saying...
