I have usually enjoyed Dunkin Donuts over the past few weeks as I am newer to the area and started to go there, I usually get a hot late with almond milk and a sandwich. On several occasions over the last few weeks they have over heated the late, which scalds the almond milk, giving it a burnt taste, I understand that not everyone knows that this is an issue with almond milk, but it should be something that employees are trained for. This alone would not stop me from coming to Dunkin Donuts, but this morning I go in and get late and their number eight sandwich which is on texas toast type bread and it was dry all the way through the bread, the bacon egg and cheese was fine, but the sandwich was not edible like that considering texas toast is very thick and it was much like a crouton and crumbled apart as I tried to eat it. The late was once again scalding and had a very burnt flavor. I called in to let the manager know about the situation so that other customers did not have a bad experience like mine as sometimes things can get left under warmers to long and are not noticed. The response I got from the manager was a bit sad, this manager needs to be trained on how to handle these situations. I am not one to want free things or anything of the sort, the managers response was a very sad "I am sorry" and after a moment of conversation she asked if I wanted to come pick up a new one, this part is ok but I was busy and couldn't take the 20 minutes to drive back there to get one, so I just didn't eat this morning. When I told the manger that I was not able to come back in today due to being to far away and busy she did not offer up any type of solution to the situation and was just silent on the phone and said, " I am sorry", softly again and, "have a good day", that was it. Very irritating considering this sandwich is a $7 sandwich for breakfast. I know every place makes mistakes, but they need to know how to handle it. that is why there is manager training. I am not sure I would want to go back to this Dunkin Donuts as they don't seem to take care of their...
Read moreSo i went through the drive Tru and i asked for 25 count of glazed munchkins and a strawberry frosted donut. Paid $5.99 for the munchkin and almost $2 for the strawberry donut. Had to turn around because they gave me 13 munchkins . When i questioned them i received the worst customer service The lady that attended me said i have nothing to do for you. This is how they come boxed. I said if i paid for 25 why did i get just 13? She then gave me another excuse with attitude and said its because of the size.... so i say to her what does size have to do withe the count? if i pd for 25 i should receive 25, she then says to me i heard you i understand English... no one ever said she didn't. She then got louder with me and said i was givingher attitude. At this point i wentin side the store and the same Hispanic lady started giving me attitude. I asked to speak to the manager...no manager. I think this could have been handled better. All i was asking for was what i paid for and all i received in return was attitude...its a shame that she is Hispanic like i am, because in my family we treat everyone with respect. The old Hispanic lady is rude. Thry have to get rid of her...I will never come to this...
Read moreOn Nov 9th, I stopped to get a coffee - Medium iced decaf, 1 pump of hazelnut (they have discontinued hazelnut swirl - bad plan), 1 cream. Instead, what I was handed was a Medium iced cream, 1 pump of hazelnut, and 1 pump of coffee. The line was long and I did not have time to wait again to get a replacement. I replied to the survey on the receipt which offers a free donut (worst donuts ever come from Dunkin Donuts in general). I expressed my dissatisfaction and was contacted by some corporate email reader who informed me I would hear from someone from the store. I never did. I made sure to reply to the corporate email, twice, that I have never heard from the store, never offered a solution, a free retry, nothing. In short, not only will I NEVER return to this store, I would not recommend it either, and I think very little about the corporation as a whole. Starbucks may cost more but the order is right and IF they make an error, there is no question asked about making it right. In short, I would avoid this place unless I was dying of thirst.
