What a terrible experience. It has "Mediterranean" in the name, but it thinks it's a Mexican restaurant, but doesn't even serve decent Mexican food. The bright fluorescent lights when you come in were terrible. Mexican music so loud that we couldn't even hear each other. We asked if we could sit outside because of that, so they cleaned out the igloo sitting outside. (They later charged us $20 for it, but then agreed to take it off.) I got very overpriced shrimp fajitas for $25, which was a handful of shrimp with peppers and onions, moldy smelling tortillas on the side, prepackaged guacamole and sour cream on the side. It doesn't come with rice and beans, salsa, or anything else you would normally get with fajitas. I asked for guacamole at the beginning and she said ok. And then we asked for chips. She said they don't have chips there. I asked what people are supposed to eat the guac with and she said "French fries"? They don't even have salsa there. Seriously? This is the most overpriced Mexican food I have ever experienced. And the tequila shots?!? They charged me $13 for Patron and $21 for my boyfriend per shot. (They charged him for 2 shots!) The poor guy just came with us and got 2 shots of alcohol and with tip and tax, it cost him $50!!! The pics of good looking food and the high ratings were what brought us in.This is nothing like what you actually get. Maybe it was a different/ good chef back then. At least the servers were nice. Food took about 40 mins to come out. (We ordered very simple dishes, should've taken 10 mins tops.) We didn't even bother to try arguing about being double charged for the $21 shot. We just wanted to get the hell out of there and forget that experience ever happened. When we first got there, we asked for a round of water. They brought us plastic bottles. My sister asked how much they were and she replied "1 something"... on the receipt? $2. To drink water at a table we were eating at in a restaurant. Adding a copy of the ridiculous receipts. (They already included the tip for our party if 4.) $180 for a terrible meal for 3 people....
Read moreI recently visited this local restaurant after being drawn in by their appealing Instagram and Facebook pages, eager to support a local business. Upon being seated, our drink orders were taken promptly by the waitress. However, when the drinks arrived, we discovered a fly in my son’s cup. When we noticed , I was looking to locate the waitress, she was unavailable for an extended period. Approximately 20-25 minutes later, our meals were delivered—for my husband and myself—but my son’s entrée was missing entirely. I immediately informed the waitress, who relayed the issue to the kitchen. Shortly after, our original server returned, apologizing for the oversight and explaining that she had stepped out for a break. She suggested we begin eating without my son, but we preferred to wait until everyone was served. My son had ordered salmon with white rice. About 10 minutes later, his dish arrived, but the salmon was undercooked and raw in the center. At this point, with my son was hungry and now sharing my husband’s meal, I requested that the dish be removed and asked for our check. In the interim, another staff member inquired about our experience. When I, explained the series of issues, her demeanor shifted noticeably; rather than offering an apology, she became defensive, interrupting me and showing reluctance to address our concerns. This experience was deeply disappointing, and I hope the establishment takes steps to improve service and quality control for future...
Read moreI was rather taken aback when my mojito arrived in a diminutive glass, adorned with a scant amount of ice on the surface and a lukewarm concoction at the bottom. With two small straws. I had expected a more exquisite presentation, but it seemed as though they were cutting corners by using such a modest vessel for a beverage. As for the Lobster Tail on Fettuccine Pasta that I ordered, while the lobster itself was impeccably prepared, the same cannot be said for the pasta's taste and appearance. The pasta was excessively chewy, making them difficult to manage with a fork, and to my dismay, no spoon was provided, only a knife. Although the flavor of the pasta was passable, it certainly didn't reach the level of greatness one would anticipate. It was a struggle to gather a proper forkful, which was disheartening due to its undercooked and chewy nature. While the staff at the establishment were amiable, it was evident that they lacked experience in conveying the high-class ambiance the restaurant aimed to exude. Although their prices are on the higher side, the atmosphere falls short of the desired level, but the atmosphere falls short. I'm certain that the situation will improve in the future, as they appear to be undergoing some construction. At night, when their specialty comes into play, the establishment may present itself more favorably. However, during the day, it leaves much to be desired, ultimately coming across as pretentious and merely an excuse to charge...
