A few years back I used to get my color done here. However, the fact that it would take multiple phone calls (it made no difference whether I left a voicemail or spoke to the receptionist)on my part to get them to call me back was frustrating.
I found another salon but they recently went out of business. So i called salon 570 back. The receptionist went on and on about why they failed to call me back, some lame excuse about the phone system, blah blah blah). But this is the only salon which carries the brand of hair color to which I am loyal, and fortunately I was able to get in for an appointment January 3rd.
When I met the colorist I explained in no uncertain terms that I ONLY go with semi permanent, NOT permanent color, as the latter leaves my hair dull, brittle, and fried. She seemed to be accommodating, but as she applied the color, I noticed that it had a thick, creamy texture and was white-ish in appearance. I also smelled ammonia. (The Semi permanent formula does not have any chemical odor and it has a more runny, gelatinous texture) I asked if she was sure this was the semi permanent I had asked for and was assured it was. Sure enough, my hair came out like straw. I donât know if a purported professional hair colorist either doesnât know the difference between the two formulas or if she straight up lied. Either way-hugely concerning, to say the least.
Fortunately, though-Salon Adore in Wyoming just opened. I went there to try to start repairing the damage done to my hair and found the level of service to be exemplary. Never mind the fact that the charge a fraction of the price for the same service!

UPDATE in response to the businessâs comments on my review-it was my omission not to mention that my hair was not in the greatest of shape from the get go. THE FACT REMAINS: the stylist either erred or lied about what she put on my hair and made it even worse as a result.
If the stylist had any reservations about working on my hair nothing of the sort was ever communicated to me. From all appearances she was quite vocal about only being concerned about the best interest of her clients. Studio 570âs response to my post would have the reader believe I held a gun to her head.
I DID continue to try to get in touch with the salon, but for a completely different service. It seems they have reverted back to ignoring voicemails and not returning calls, because the stylist I was looking to meet with (who is NOT the one who colored my hair) never got back to me. Regardless, that has nothing to do with why I posted this review.
While the manner in which a customer writes a bad review can give you a sense of its validity, if you read this businessâs replies to negative reviews youâll see that instead of trying to open a dialogue or make things right they make the client the enemy.
As a result of Studio 570âs unfortunate handling of this matter I will again give a plug to

She knows thats very important to me. Thank you so much !! I will never go anywhere else.    Read moreIts my son's senior year, and he wanted to try a "different" experience as opposed to the normal barbers or big chain hair places I (his dad) normally take him to. So I went outside of my comfort zone and arranged him an appointment at Studio 570. Erica was his stylist. She was incredibly sweet and helpful. He normally hates change, but he walked out and stated he loved his hair. Erica went above and beyond to make him comfortable. Studio 570 and Erica definitely have a new Long Term customer. ...
