Tacos la poblanita — Restaurant in Wilkes-Barre

05/11/25 (Sunday 6:30PM). First time eating here. I’m an over the road truck driver. I ordered the burrito 🌯. It comes with refried beans, choice of meat, queso, seasoned rice, lettuce, tomato, cilantro sour cream and onions. I asked for a steak burrito 🌯 without tomatoes and lettuce.

The burrito cost $15.00. It was massive and reminded me of a favorite taco spot back home. The ingredients are fresh and put together when ordered. The rice has a great seasoning and steak was hot and fresh. The burrito was made with good ingredients.

The salsas offered were also very good. The green salsa was fresh and well balanced. The salsa was also of the right consistency. When I placed some on the burrito it didn’t fall down into the burrito. The red sauce was also of the same quality. Fresh and well balanced and seasoned with a bit of heat to it. Both salsas make the burrito taste spectacular.

I had this meal to go. It was well wrapped and then placed in a foam container. I was given salsas without having to ask for them along with napkins. I was offered more salsa but I didn’t need more.

Overall the slight wait for my food was worth it. The food was hot and fresh and the service was welcoming and pleasant. If you’re looking for your taco, burrito or other Hispanic (Mexican) food fix I would highly recommend this food truck. There is a small covered area to “eat in.” They also offer soda/pop to drink. You won’t be disappointed.

This food truck is going to become one of my favorites! The truck is easy to find and if you want to eat there, they have benches you can sit on. Today I ordered an order of steak tacos, two orders of birria, the papas locas, two horchatas, and a flan for my family and I. The customer service was spectacular, one of the best I’ve experienced in the area. The food was incredible. The owner told me that she makes everything by hand with help from her family and you can tell by the taste of the food. The food was also ready quickly and stayed hot until I got home. They also gave me a Mexican dessert to try out since I had never had it before. These people were literally one of the kindest individuals I have come across in a long time. I will be returning of course, as well as telling everyone I know of their food truck. I wish them a lot of success in their business,...

The food here is soo goood! Had the chicken tacos the first time I went it tasted real authentic, and the lil spices the add on the side are soo good. Went the next day to put my sister on and she got the steak tacos, I tasted those too and they were just as yummy and fresh. Price is good too and they give you a lil card to stamp so that every time you go you’re closer and closer to a free meal. The food is done quick too. The owners are really nice. 10/10...
