Center City Cafe — Restaurant in Wilkes-Barre

We were looking for a breakfast spot near the river and found out the Cafe was in the courthouse, so for something different we went inside. This was the first time I was ever weapon searched for breakfast (smile). The Cafe is just inside the rear courthouse entrance. I had my normal eggs, toast, and potatoes, with sausage. Others had a bagel breakfast sandwich. All food was great and around $5-6. After breakfast we toured the courthouse, this was great...quite an unexpected breakfast location with a great history outing...there is ALOT of marble in that rotunda! 😀 Definitely recommended if you want something different for a breakfast stop. So good its worth a visit even if you don't have any business in the Luzerne County Courthouse. Always has a rotating menu of weekly specials, and a huge selection of everyday options. From grab-and-go sandwiches and salads, to soups, BBQ, and breakfast. If you can't find something you like here, that's a you problem. Courthouse employees are lucky to have such a quality option so...
