Gerry's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Wilkes-Barre

Take another little Pizza my Heart now Baby! �. Oooooh I've died and gone to Pizza heaven, in Wilkesbarre, PA. Gerrys Pizzeria offers a variety of pizzas from 4 cuts to 10, from thin crust to thick, and with dairy cheese to non dairy including vegan @daiyafoods cheese that all foodies can enjoy. (It's not on the menu so you have to ask for it) We ordered a hot steaming (literally) large 10 cut Pizza with Daiya, Mushroom and Pineapple. We opted out of the sweet sauce which is popular in that area but we wanted the pizza to stay as traditional as possible. Let's just say I couldn't tell the difference between the texture and the taste of mozzarella vs Daiya. For $20 we got 10cuts and and 2 root beers. Not bad �(the Daiya costs a little extra) If you're lactose intolerant, vegan, or just simply looking for a new type of pizza to enjoy, try Gerry's Pizzeria located right off Blackman street on Carey Ave. They serve traditional AND vegan pizza to accommodate everyone . I'll definitely be back!

WOW WOW WOW!! What a great spot. I’ll talk all the great first and then some of the negatives. Loved my pizza. It was cooked well done just how I like it. The pizza had amazing flavor; seriously great. No grease. You could tell everything was quality. It’s clearly a popular place. They have hundreds of pies ready to go and a big staff all working hard. The price for a large was ONLY $12. I’m blown away. You can’t find a pizza under $14-16 anywhere east of here that’s this good. What a great spot. Okay now, things I’m not crazy about. Minor nitpick first. It needed more crunch. I’ll ask for it well done well done next time. But, for real issues, the parking lot is tiny. Second, I had to call 20 times before it went through because their line is so busy. They need to ad a digital ordering service online. It would make their lives and customers lives so much easier. I traveled 30 minutes. I think it’s worth an hour. Awesome spot. Great...

Gerry's has objectively perfected Sweet Sauce pizza. I doubt there is another restaurant in the country let alone PA that makes better sweet sauce. Everything is perfect - the chewy and flavorful thin crust, the balanced layer of sweet sauce to mozzarella cheese ratio, everything is amazing. I literally dream about this pizza. I can eat a whole plain pie by myself, just sweet sauce and cheese it's that good. I am a WB native but moved a few towns over a couple years ago - I can't find comparable pizza anywhere. Everything else is garbage compared to Gerry's. I will absolutely lose my mind the day they ever decide to expand and make another location because if they open one in Scranton I will single handedly fund the establishment. There is nothing better than Gerrys pizza, my absolute most favorite food...
