A salad and sandwich shouldn't take that long with so much staff! I have ate here many times over the years and I just won't be back. I have the same complaint my friends and neighbors were telling me about the other day. They aren't making the subs as big or as filled as they used too. The quality of food has gone way down hill. THE PRICES ARE HIGH COMPARED TO THE QUALITY AND QUANTITY OF FOOD YOU RECEIVE! Oh, and their spaghetti sauce/gravy looks and smells like chili sauce, unless it's old and turned brown. When the older parents used to run the place you received more for your money and they seemed more grateful for your business. OFTEN WHEN CHILDREN TAKE OVER WHAT THEIR PARENTS WORKED HARD FOR AND STARTED. THEIR CHILDREN OFTEN DO RUIN IT FROM GREED. Wouldn't mind the prices if you received what you paid for. IF IT WAS GOOD QUALITY FOOD I WOULDN'T MIND PAYING FOR IT!! Another issue I have with them is THEY CLAIM TO HAVE GLUTEN-FREE OPTIONS. WE ORDERED gluten free Pizza and it made my family very ill. THE PIZZA CRUST WE RECEIVED WAS NOT GLUTEN FREE! They say they have sub rolls that are GLUTEN-FREE for an extra $1.50. If they do we sure didn't receive what we paid for! Our sub bread was the same kind of sub bread our clients had with their subs. The owner Bobby, claims to have gluten free choices but doesn't. UNLESS BOBBY AND THE STAFF ARE JUST NOT EDUCATED ON WHAT THEY OFFER THEIR PATRONS! OR JUST DON'T CARE TO MAKE SURE THAT IF CUSTOMER'S ORDER GLUTEN-FREE THAT IS WHAT THEY HAVE TO RECEIVE!! We know this is a facility that has gluten all over it. But there are ways to make sure there's less possible cross-contamination. Fries are cooked and shared in the same oil, so FRIES ARE ALSO NOT GLUTEN FREE because of the cross contamination from other foods shared in the same oil. They do not claim that their fries are gluten free. But when you ask the employees they have no clue of what gluten or gluten-free is. SADLY FOR US GLUTEN FREE PEOPLE , the over priced salads look like the only thing that could be gluten-free, without croutons of course. Anyhow they are friendly and nice to your face and talk about you behind your back. They are not grateful to get your business! I have seen them call police officers pigs behind their backs, REALLY!! Sadly we won't be back because of the quality and quantity of the food you receive for the over absorbent prices! Twenty years ago we were big fans of New York deli! Sadly it has changed over the last few years.

IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S RUDE RESPONSE: We did not mean to touch a nerve with you we were just stating the facts and how we felt about your restaurant. You were very rude with a customer that's been a loyal customer for many years since the beginning that's sad!! A customer with my word of mouth has helped keep you open for many years. THEY CANNOT AND DO NOT WANT CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM! THEY HAVE AN ATTITUDE THAT THEY'RE BETTER THAN OTHER PEOPLE! Another thing the $7 sub does still exist! All people have to do is drive past New York Deli and go to the grocery store on the right hand side. They will sell you a 12 to 14 inch fresh-baked sub roll with your choice of FRESH meats. They will freshly slice them there at the deli, brand name Boar's Head or whichever kind of meat you want on your sub. They will add cheeses to it whatever you want and you can get many many more toppings for your sub than New York Deli has to offer. And it's only about $7 or less! They are very good and taste so much better than New York Deli. They also serve them hot or cold for you. I did take a picture of the two subs and can put them here and compare them. But I think New York Deli would not like me to do that!. But anyone reading this review if you would like a great-tasting sub try the $7 or less sub at the grocery store Deli. And save yourself about half the money from the $12.50 sub at New York Deli. Served up without rudeness! New York Deli has an attitude of arrogance and that they think they're better than...

READ THIS! My first time at New York deli & pizza it was Friday night around 8:30pm I was greeted with a broom, a soul less lady, and dusty carpet at the front door. I scanned the menu for a bit I ordered a 14" pepperoni pizza, $10.99 wings (no numerical value for the amount of wings posted anywhere) that do not come tossed in sauce of any kind, a bottled sprite and a bottled minuted maid lemonade. And my experience was not the best the cashier is selling lies I was told TEN wings for $10.99 BEFORE adding them to my order. I was THINKING I WAS SOLD great deal 10 wings for $10.99.. I'm pondering why are all the workers looking at me and STANDING on tables with rags so I googled the restaurant.. turns out they close in 20 minutes. So I waited for my $30-$50 order..I get back home and I proceeded to eat. As I open the black bag that contains my wings I was met with a potent burnt smell to my nose. When I opened the styrofoam container guess what there is only 8 wings and dipping sauce which the barbeque container was smaller than the bleu cheese container. There were no napkins provided whatsoever. The pizza has an inconsistent dough to cheese ratio as there is more cheese than dough. The dough was soggy and slimy so greasy that it kept sliding to the back of my esophagus slithering it's way to digestion. I was not granted the opportunity to turn around because the restaurant closed. The next morning I spoke with the day shift manager about the miscommunication and I was reprimanded that it was a mistake, the cashier does not know any better and asked to move along unless I want to order something again. I want to inform you guys that indeed it was the same cashier from closing time there again during day shift. Different managers yet the same cashier who makes mistakes. The business is run by con artists be aware. The service is worst than a McDonald's on a...

After considering my other reviews, I decided to increase the rating to 3 stars.

Oct 16 - Ordered two subs to go. By the time we returned home they were drenched and fell apart due to the lettuce and pickles not being drained properly. From this point we minus the lettuce / pickle and have not had wet sandwiches again.

19 Jan. Went here for my wifes birthday, she ordered a Cheese pizza and I ordered a 6 topping, I asked for the order to be read back to me on the phone and it was correct. When I went in to pickup I had a feeling to check the pizzas. They put pepperoni all over her pizza, and the order slip stated pepperoni. I requested a new pizza to be made and waited...they did not offer to reimburse any portion of the order. After they cleared the pickup area counter I approached and requested a refund which they gave me $2 back for the pepperoni. I stated they messed up my order and wanted at least the cheese refunded, as the cashier was walking away another employee stated to her...oh he wants a full refund. Which I quickly corrected. The cashier spoke to the owner / manager Bobby (I frequent this place a lot). He agreed to refund the cheese pizza.

14 Feb. Another debacle! The Grilled Chicken Sub was 1/2 filled, 1/3rd of the chicken was cartilage / fat. I ordered a Stromboli with 6 toppings (3 meat, and 2 veggies) and got a deluxe with olives and onions. Bobby's (family owner...who was present) crew needs to be more mindful of what they serve their regulars during...

This place has such a wide variety of food choices and generous portions, decent prices. I ordered the Gyro dinner which came with a Greek salad and fries. The salad was huge and could have been a meal by itself. It had huge chunks of feta, more than I've ever had in one serving! The Gyro was way too big for me to eat with 8 slices of gyro meat, lettuce, tomato, and a HUGE pile of Tzaziki sauce. I had to eat most of it with a fork because it was too big to fold up and eat as usual. My only complaint is that they serve your order as the individual plates are ready. So when my salad was ready, they called "number 64 Greek salad" so my husband was nice and got up to get it from the counter for me. Then 60 seconds later, my daughter's spaghetti was ready, so he got up and retrieved that. 2 minutes later my son's plate was ready, etc, etc. With 5 people in our party, there was lots of getting up and walking to the counter so we couldn't really just sit and enjoy our meal because by the time the last plate was ready, the rest of us were done eating and we had to take the last plate to go. It's nice to have hot, fresh food, right when it's ready, but sometimes it's also nice to just be able to all eat together at the same time.

We had dinner at New York Deli & Pizza Restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We ordered three pizzas: a deep-dish pepperoni and bacon, a white pizza, and a classic pepperoni, sausage, and ham. Each one was perfectly made—crispy crust, flavorful toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. The deep dish was especially impressive, with a rich, hearty bite in every slice. We also tried some pasta, which was just as delicious—cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. Beyond the food, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant itself had a warm and inviting ambience, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend New York Deli & Pizza Restaurant to anyone looking for great pizza and Italian food. We’ll definitely be back!
