My twin sis and I have been shopping at the Lightfoot Antique Mall since they were at old location in Toano ... Chris and Gary and the other good people that work there are ALL lovely ... They are very accommodating if you are looking for something specific ... There is A LOT to see ... Every time we go we see something we missed during our last visit !!! Honestly if you are a true "browser" you will need more than a couple hours to get a GOOD LOOK at everything ... Sis and I bought a Carnival Glass Bowl (Marigold) .. A Brown/Yellow Sponge Ware Bowl ... A Vintage Deep Dish Pyrex Casserole Dish ... 2 very cool vintage table lamps ... 1 is a onion shaped pottery with a gorgeous painting of a greyhound by a pond and pickett fence ... 1 is brass with colored glass on 3 sides and can light from bulb on top of lamp or the inside of bottom that has 2 candles ... They are SO PRETTY !!!!! And finally a big Federal Style Dresser that is from 18?? ... Not mint but beautiful and heavy and completely useable !!! All this for under 300 !!! And we STILL did not get to all the different booths ... There is a backroom that is loaded with stuff !!! There is a public bathroom ... Clean ... Yes both Men and Women use it ... But always clean and do not have to ask for "key" ... One Entrance/Exit ... Lots of parking ... Some parking spots right in front of store ... Checkout Register is on your right as you walk in the Entrance ... LOVE...
Read moreI was told about this place from a third party and the whole day my heart was set on going, I love antique shops; but I usually just look around and don't really find anything I truly want. I must say by far this is the best ones I have been to. Their prices are great and reasonable they have a very large variety so theres something for everyone if you like this kind of thing. The customer service was great and even though when we finally got there it was 5 mins to closing time, we were not rushed the guys working were very patient professional and helpful... This is one of my favorite shops I couldn't stop buying stuff I literally was like a kid in a candy store. I look foward to many more visits and possibly getting space to sale my crafts this may just be my excuse to get extra visits.I absolutely highly recommend you to visit especially tourist that defiantly want a piece of Virginia's culture this is where its at. If I could give more...
Read moreHaven't been to Williamsburg in years but remembered this place from it's other location because I'd purchased some nice things there. The new location is crammed with booth after booth of interesting antiques and collectables and is much larger to browse than it would suggest from the outside. Considering the area, items in here seem much more reasonable than some of the other antique stores. I always find bargains in here and found this jester on a high shelf in a booth with 50% off, making him a cheap $10. If I find something to buy in an antique store it automictically gets 5 stars since even thrift stores have become overpriced. This is a must for antique...
