My mom and I came through the drive thru about a month ago. My mom ordered 2 pumpkin pies. When we got to the window, they told us they didn’t have any and offered her one apple pie. The pumpkin pies cost more and she ordered two. How is offering someone 1 apple pie in place of two pumpkin pies of equal value? The person in the drive thru was very rude and told my mom she would get a refund back to her card. I think this was a tactic just to get us through the drive thru. After about 5 days, my mom had not received a refund, so she called and spoke with a manager. The manager said that the employees know that they don’t give refunds, took down her address, and offered her coupons for her trouble. It’s been about three weeks and the coupons never came. I find it odd that they would not issue her a refund, not even for goods not received. I was in the restaurant today and I overheard the manager offering a customer a refund for something they had ordered because the machine was down. Why is it that you only give refunds to certain customers? It was easy to make this right. You could’ve given her a refund, allowed her to wait for the pies, or you could’ve taken down her name and gave her two pumpkin pies on her next visit. Read moreI work on the go as a medical transporter. Today, August 22, I had stopped in through drive through for breakfast. I asked for 2 sausage McMuffin and 2 hash browns. She said if all correct please pull forward. I told her I also need 2 hash browns. She proceeded to not fix it and said to pull up. Boy at window was looking at me laughing, and could barely ask what order I had. I told him what it was supposed to be. He than gave a receipt that was half printed on right side. I’m waiting for car in front getting food. That person was given my food, and it was passed back through the window. After 5 more minutes that car left. He hands me the food he have previous car. I said I can’t accept food that was given to someone else already. He says it wasn’t, in fact I watched it happen. I asked for proper receipt, that took 4 minutes. They continued laughing. The McMuffins were less cooked/cold and hash browns soaked in grease. Needless to say that drive through experience took about 15 minutes. Approximately another 5 to get to the second window. I ordered an ice cream cone a mcflurry and a lg fry. The kids at the window seemed new and confused just pacing back and forth he got me my ice cream which was a mess and then about 3 minutes later handed me a bag of cold fries. Then about another 2 minutes later comes back and asks do I want something other than the mcflurry after I have already been here this long. I gave everything back and asked for my money back. They gave me the receipt I checked it as I was pulling off and was only refunded 5.08 and I paid 11.84. I then went inside and was told because I licked the ice cream cone I couldn't get it refunded per GM Ellie. Which is ridiculous since I really didn't have a choice it was melting everywhere because of how long I waited. I told them they still didn't refund the fries so they did refund and I left. They didn't even apologize for the inconvenience or waste of my time....
