Roy's Bakery — Restaurant in Williamsport

Cookies. Disappointing to put it simply. I like hard and I like soft cookies, depends upon what I'm hungry for at that time. Roy's cookies are hard and on the dry side aka stale, to where you need a glass of milk to eat them. Their sugar cookies should be called shortbread cookies because that's what they taste like and completely covering their cookies in sugar, does not a good cookie make! Might as well go to Walmart for cookies. You want a good cookie in Williamsport go next door to Tony's Deli they got choc chip hard & soft, choc chip with ricotta cheese, fluffy sugar cookies best raisin I've had in years and many more delicious cookies. I originally went to Roy's because their website said they make bread. Bakeries generally make more than cookies so I was hopeful. Ha pipe dream that was, guy at the desk said they quit making bread some time ago so all you get is crappy cookies and bland cinnamon buns. Don't see myself ever going back there again & I wouldn't suggest anyone go...

Terrible experience. During a recent visit to the bakery my husband asked the attendant to make a small modification to two cakes he had intended to purchase, she refused what was a very reasonable request. He then indicated that he was more than willing to pay an additional charge to which her response was the owner would not allow it. He asked if the owner was there and she was so he asked to speak with her. The owner came out and refused to meet his request and was very, very rude. In case you're wondering, he had asked them to ice the sides of the cakes he was purchasing as they were only iced on top and he wanted icing on the sides as well. This is now our second poor experience here and we will not be back. My husband was out of town during my experience and was unaware. My advice, steer clear of a business that treats...

My organization has been in touch with Roy's bakery about a potential donation of cookies for our large family event. A co-worker has been in two times to discuss it with them and they seemed so excited. They told us they would get back to us last Friday but we didn't hear anything. I called in today to just follow up and the lady that answered the phone was very rude. She immediately said, "why are you calling the day before Thanksgiving, and if you haven't heard anything back then no we are doing anything. Bye." I couldn't get a word in when I tried to explain I was just following up about our event on the 15th of December. and we were told we would hear back last week. I am very disappointed, not by the fact that Roy's isn't partnering with us on our event, but because of the way I was talked to on the phone. This was very bad...
