The Senate Grille — Restaurant in Williamsport

Small in size a business that has been around for a very long time. Upon the trip I had a long island iced tea(my typical drink at new places) a cheesesteak and loaded beer battered fries with lemonade on the side.

This business is exceptionally well the food is fantastic, the server is extremely kind and guides to better options on the menu. The long island was near perfect, each once was delicious and the lemonade felt fresh. Overall an amazing visit. It will become my go to place for long island.

Also, it was someone's birthday absolutely everybody sang and wisher the lady a happy birthday, it felt like a family. Not many places do that, kudos to Senate I respect...

I would give more stars, BUT NO! , they have a very unprofessional bar tender there. But I want to this bar tonight, 12/1/2021 to have a few drinks, and I purchase 3 rounds in total, 2 rounds + 3 separate shots, and the 3rd round was a personal shot for just me. Gave the bar tender a very GENEROUS tip on the first order. I know for sure that any other local or person that attends that bar won’t ever give any bar tender a $12tip. It’s pretty simple. We arrived with only two other people in the place. Bar tender was quick to greet us. No other worker was in the place, so bar tender had to cover waiting tables and bar the whole time we were there. Photo shows my order of the special of the day, the fish dinner. Fish was over fried and very dry. I couldn't eat the outside and very little inside. Mac and cheese was lacking taste.
