Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Williamston

We ordered a cake at the Williamston location. although they were very busy the manager took time, when an employee volunteered to cover him, to see what we wanted and look to see if they had it on hand. He had us call back when the decorator would be there. She called us from home, then went in and looked to see what they had. When it wasn't there, despite my telling her I would trust her judgment, she contacted Greenville and had them find the piece for me. She totally customized the cake, colors and ice cream to suit us. Our birthday girl was so pleased. Hats off to you for good employees and service beyond the call of duty. It was lovely and really yummy!

I stopped by this DQ on 2/21/2021, at approximately 1:50pm. Worst decision ever! I ordered 2 of the 6 PC chicken strip baskets, w/ double servings of ranch dressing for BOTH, a sprite and a strawberry kiwi drink. First of all, I was charged for the additional ranch dressings, as to be expected, however I didn't receive, instead of a sprite, I received a coke or Pepsi. I then asked the young lady at the window for a drink tray. I must have asked her for her first born child! She acted as if it was a inconvenience to retrieve one. She handed it to me literally forcing it into my hand, only to slam the drive through window shut. This used to be an awesome place with great food and service but it hasn't been good for a long time. Recently I thought they might be ok by now but no! I had to wait nearly 10 minutes for my order. Fries were hot but chicken tenders were cold. Tenders usually stay hot for a while so they were probably cooked earlier. When I had finished I took the top off my coke to dump the ice out and found some kind of insect stuck to the inside of my cup! WTH! Soon after eating my stomach got very upset so I had to rush to a bathroom and was stuck in there for 30 minutes. I couldn't even eat the home cooked meal I had planned for supper....
