Akai Hibachi — Restaurant in Williamston

As a regular customer, today really surprised me. I have already made a complaint but sometimes people think they can be extremely rude with no consequences. I asked for chicken teriyaki, and got corrected that I said steak and chicken I kinda said no I’m sorry I said chicken. “No, you said steak and chicken” in a very rude tone. It’s hot so I try to be understanding but I asked for someone else and heard a smack of teeth. I hung up and decided to go see who was working because iv never experienced this before. Come to find out it’s the same sweet server who always attends me. She even made note that she knew it was me and insisted she wasn’t being rude with a smirk on her face. Iv always tipped and been extremely nice that I couldn’t believe the same young lady knew who I was and still insisted on questioning me and correcting me in a rude tone… If you can’t do customer service or get fed up with people then you don’t need to be working in a restaurant. You knew exactly what you were doing and you are admitting you didn’t even care that I am a regular. So if you don’t care how you speak to me or even want to admit that your wrong than how do you speak to new coming customers ?

To make it worse I bit into my sushi and tasted something crunchy to find a metal piece inside. I don’t know if this a mistake but food must be handled correctly. Maybe it’s because I complained but I will no longer be...

Waited over 50 minutes for food, it wasn't even hot. They drenched it in sauce and the taste was overwhelming. The waitresses attitude was very apathetic.The employees are very rude. I will not be back. I called to speak to the manager and the girl who answered the phone was very unprofessional. She was argumentative and unfit for the position that she holds. I am never disappointed when I go to Akai Hibachi. The chef is a funny, expedient talent at whipping out the orders with precision. I have witnessed him clear 6 large orders within 10 mins, mine included! The wait staff is always cheerful and courteous. And the cherry on top is how delicious the food is!
