My niece and I stopped here as our regular place is closed like to try new and local fair when going to our auction pick up. I had to Olive Burger on the homemade bread Rye toasted my niece had the bacon burger on toasted white bread both of them were fresh and tasty. The the waitress was friendly and very attentive stop by our table several times asked if we needed anything else. Would eat here again prices on average under $10. Really

My husband and I went for a drive and ended up in Williamston. There was a restaurant downtown that was open. We had a late breakfast here at Ellie's. The server was rude at first when I said we were from Lansing. As soon as she found out I was doing a review for Maps, her demeanor changed. The food was decent tasting. It was too greasy health wise. I rate it a 3 1/2. The prices were good; definitely a plus. I won't go back.

Tammy was so delightful. The place was suddenly full with only Tammy working front and Brian working the back and let me tell you... it was ALL amazing and delicious. Great food, FRESH baked biscuits and toast, and friendly service. What more can an outta town gal from the east coast wish for???

Not "the best food in Williamson" as it says on sign. The place is small. The dining area is nice. You have to walk through the messy kitchen hall to get to the one toilet in the place. NOT wheelchair accessible. The bathroom looks old and dirty. Makes me wonder how clean the kitchen really is.

The place was empty at 11:30 am. One old guy came in after us. That's it for customers.

The food....nothing special. I cook better at home. And I'm not a great cook. The homemade cinnamon roll with frosting was messy. Not really a roll shape either. Drowned in frosting...too much. The chicken dumplings were not that good my husband said. I ordered waffles with strawberries. There were so many COLD strawberries on top, the waffle was cold. Shouldn't the berries be WARM? So the liquid with the berries made the waffle turn to mush. Didn't taste horrible, just all cold and mushy.

We are not going back.

They even have a TripAdvisor sticker on the front door. My...

Ellie's Country Kitchen is a small mom-and-pop restaurant in downtown Williamston. It has good food, at reasonable prices and a homey feeling. It is great for a casual family dinner, with friendly and efficient waitstaff, and a relaxed attitude. Breakfast is served all day, and all the choices, from omelets to waffles and more, are delicious., My seven year old son (a card-carrying pancake expert) says that the blueberry pancakes are the best around. (He's not wrong.) We have tried several of the entrees on their menu and always been more than satisfied. The broasted chicken is great, and so are the burgers. If you get a chance, try their...

This down-home, family owned restaurant has been serving our community for years. The parents no longer are the owners as the son (Brian) has taken it over and poured a ton of money, time, and effort in it's remodel and updating appliances. A very humble man and a great cook! The bread is made in house and the ingredients are carefully sourced for quality and taste. That is evident in the Italian sausage served with breakfast. The coffee is mellow and satisfying. Do yourself a favor and order some food! Thank-you Brian for not giving up on this Hometown...
