We have been to this location a few times before, it was on our route to Virginia. We use to enjoy stopping here because the staff was always friendly and the food was hot. But the last few trips to this location have not be great.
The entire floor has been wet and sticky. The tables were so sticky that no amount of wiping with napkins could make them clean.
The last time we went in was the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The cashier although perfectly polite, acted annoyed each time that someone in our party tried to order without paying. You could obviously tell that we were a multigenerational family and my grandmother was standing there with her credit card out allowing each person to order so she could pay. But the cashier acted like it was an inconvenience to allow us each to order and then my grandmother pay at the end, even though I tried to explain. We tried to be efficient and each knew what they were going to order ahead of time and there was no one else at the counter while we were ordering. We realized at the end of the transaction why he was acting this way, he explained that he needed a manager because our order was over $49 for the lot of us. Understandable.
The manager came over and hollered out our total, no problem she had a headset on and may have been listening to other things. What was frustrating was watch customers come from the tables to refill their drinks and each realizing there was no ice. The manager who was shouting out commands to people just acted oblivious to the customers trying to get her attention after we paid about the drink machine. The cashier also went about his business like people weren't standing with their cups asking about ice after the first few explained the machine was not working. It seemed like each person standing there was looked at as bothering the employees as we each had to explain our empty cup and why we may be waiting there at their counter.
Our food came out quick and one by one, this was no problem at all and completely understandable, the issue was the attitude of the employees as someone stood to wait for their cup of ice or drink while waiting for their order, it felt like we were bugging them just standing there. Even when we said hey we don't mind waiting, just when you get a chance could you fill these cups please. Each order was correct for each person in our group. But none of it was hot or even warm.Some of the fries were raw. Just raw. And after being in the car all day and the way the people acted towards us being there, like we were a hassle. We just quickly ate, cleaned up our table, and left.
I will say that y'all have some amazing customers. And older couple sat behind our family and chatted with us as we left, complimented how well behaved my two children were. And another family held the door open for my grandma as she wished them a Merry Christmas.
This used to be a great location and no matter what the place was clean and the employees were kind. Wish it was that way our last few visits. I think this last visit was our final at...
Read moreJust stopped here with the main intention of getting a strawberry lemonade. They had no ice. Not ideal but I knew we had ice in our cooler so no problem. However, once I got the drink I shook it and there was not enough strawberry syrup to make it remotely strawberry. I asked the cashier if she could add more syrup and she said no that I needed to shake it up. Since that had not worked I told her I didn’t want it like that and she could just throw it away and she did. If I wasn’t so annoyed I would have asked for the manager but at that point I didn’t see anything getting resolved. While I was waiting an older lady came up and questioned the burger she got. She was told that was what was rung up for her and the burger was handed back to her. She gave her burger away because she didn’t want that kind so I got back in line and ordered the junior bacon cheeseburger that she wanted and gave it to her. The cashier missed ordering the oatmeal bar I asked for the first time, she ordered the wrong burger for another customer, and she refused to fix the syrup in the lemonade. While I set in my car, I saw another person go in with an incorrect sandwich. Only one person offered to help but she seemed unsure if she was allowed to make the corrections. Management at this restaurant needs to give permission for people to make decisions to make customers happy with products that are made correctly. Read moreMade an online app order. Pick up option was made for the drive thru. Upon going through the drive thru and already have paid online I was told I would have to come in to get my order. I went in and asked why I couldn't get the order at the drive thru as the app gave the drive thru as an option for pick up and was told app orders are only given out at the drive thru when the dining room is closed. Why is the drive thru an option on the app if the store won't honor it. If I made the order at the drive thru speaker to be picked up at the drive thru window I would have been served but because it's an app order and the dining room was open I had to come in to get it. Makes no sense
