John and his asst. were fantastic today. My mother and I stopped n for a visit this afternoon. They were extra pleasant and friendly. I'm a veg and I ordered rice n peas and cabbage to go. Just ate it and the flavors were delish. I did ask for fresh scotch bonnet and they accommodated. I do enjoy heat. My Mom thought the oxtail was very good, she never had before and was pleasantly surprised. My daughter had the jerk and said it was very flavorful. The customers were all very sweet and the place had a good flow of Jamaicans coming through, we hung out for a lil and came back to grab some extra food an hr or so later. Amazing Food, But Service Needs Urgent Attention!

This restaurant has some of the best food I’ve had truly a hidden gem. But the biggest issue holding it back is the customer service. The owner recently hired an older woman to help out, and she is extremely rude. Her attitude toward customers is completely unprofessional, and it’s frustrating to see such a great place being ruined by bad service.The worst part is that the owner isn’t around when she’s being rude, so I’m not sure he realizes how badly she’s treating customers. The food is good BUT!! If you don’t want some dry rice and want some gravy on your rice please let them know ahead of time and check your plate before you go. I Purchase food from here 2 different times and ask the lady if she put gravy on my meal, she said yes and she was lying. I got home And had some dry rice no gravy, just a little bit of gravy with the meat but dry dry rice no gravy on the rice, after she said yes that she put gravy on my rice.
