Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Williston

It all happened July 13, 2022. The location: Williston, ND Dairy Queen. It was a beautiful night with a light breeze. The sky was dark and the DQ was to close in 15 minutes. There was anticipation but not high expectations. Could it be the blizzard extraordinaire I had longed for or would I again be relegated to disappointment as I reached the bottom of the cup? The thought of a masterpiece Choco Brownie Extreme with taste bud tantalizing brownie and chocolate all the way to the bottom was probably just too much to ask. Surely, the rich chocolate magnificance would end 2/3 the way down like it had done so many times only to find simpleton vanilla in the bottom 1/3. But, there's always hope, right? And then it happened! In Williston, ND. I dug into the gloriousness of the Choco Brownie Extreme....oh so good. As I spooned deeper I fully expected the chocolate and Brownie to disappear! But it kept coming and coming! Taste buds were basking in deliciousness again and again. Could this be it? Could this be the time with no vanilla at the bottom? Another spoon, and another spoon. Then YES! It happened! Brownie and chocolate mixed all the way to the bottom! I had to travel to Williston, ND to find it. Thank you Williston DQ. You...

I dread going through the drive through here. Every time I pull up - "Order when you're ready" "okay, can I get a (thing).. and a-" "WHAT WAS THAT?" They ask me what I said for every single thing I say, every time I go there. Either they need new speakers and headsets or they need to finish whatever they're doing before they tell people to order. Bugs me so bad. Not only that but I have to ask for them to repeat my order back, or else it comes out wrong. Sometimes it's wrong anyways. And it takes at least 25+ minutes to get through the line, and there is ALWAYS a line. I never give bad reviews on places because I understand tougher times here and there, but this is literally EVERY. TIME. At least once or twice a week.

Everytime I come in here it seems like everyone that works here hates their job. They are always so grumpy and rude, except for one lady, I wish I knew her name, but she is the only one that is nice and friendly. She has a buzz cut for her hair and is always friendly. There is one lady that works there and has for a while, she wears glasses I think, and has a long dirty blonde pony tail. She is the worst of them all. She is always giving dirty looks and I swear she judges our orders. She always is pointing to me and then whispering to other workers when she seems me come in, and has always been extremely unwelcoming.
