McDonald's — Restaurant in Willmar

Ordered on app because we've gone through the gauntlet this week, sent my 17 year old in with their sibling while I waited with their disabled sibling in the car. Clerk wanted to argue with the teen that there was no order (yet $53ish dollars had been removed from the bank account...) after 30 full minutes of BS inside the location they re-ran everything by entering the order, over-charging for 3 not 2 happy meals & also didn't give the free big mac initially ordered. They did give the happy meal & money back for the 3rd but didn't offer one single thing. All employees were nice besides the fluffier blond woman we can only assume was manager. (I'm assuming she was pissy because as I waited with my child in my van, she had just come out for her smoke break & appeared to get called in for "our" issue). I ordered, paid for counter pick-up & their should have been zero issues. Just like this franchisee's paynesville store closed, perhaps this one should too ...

4 days before this also brought us to Willmar for an emergency room visit with my child, after leaving we all just needed to eat something after an ordeal that was spent between 2 separate ERs (the first sending us to willmar), was nowhere as expensive as the previous trip mentioned, nor complicated, yet nuggets were missing from almost every meal, sauce forgotten, got a weird what should have been coke but was like an OK soda from the 90s (which I actually didn't mind) ... orange soda & flatter coke if you want to know what that tastes like if you miss it.

Just rude experiences, one mid-day, one much later in the night, neither satisfactory. Thankful we are only in that area for medical things, one of the few foods my special needs kiddos will eat "from out", so it is extra sh*t if it's not correct.

Yeah a 50+ online order is large, but if multiple people can be outside smoking after 2pm, it's not like ya'll were busy nor was it that serious.

** also note this location specifically was telling elderly people they are suppose to force people to order on the kiosk now denying them counter...

So, I asked the lady when she brought my to go order to me if the fries were fresh... she said they only 3 min old... umm, lies...🤨 so I go back in, (I'm already in my truck) and hand the same lady the 2 med fries and say as nicely as I could, I'd like fresh fries. I don't mind waiting. She took them from me, walked back by fryer, and proceeded to give me the SAME fries! Same box, they never left her hand. I tried one, and they obviously still cold and rubbery, so I went to the manager, and handed him the (same!) Fries, and he came back with fresh delicious fries and even gave me larges instead of mediums. That man is why I gave 3 stars, or it would have been 1. He just handed them to me and said sorry for the inconvenience.... and my faith in people is restored! Thank you manager guy, you're great, but you might think about putting that girl in the back where she doesnt have to deal w Customers. That kind of attitude needs to clean toilets for a while and humble herself. No need to be rude! Thank you mr manager, I will return for some delicious fries again in...

Went through drive through tonight. Hard a large order since my wife and kids where with and we where on our way home from a basketball game. After going through drive through, we wanted a half and still didn't have our food. We got our fries and drinks but nothing else. I went inside to see what was going on with our order and not a dam person knew anything about our order and it was cleared as in delivered. I told the manager what we had received and she asked if I still wanted the order. "Yes I want my order, I paid for it unless your going to reimburse me for the time wasted and the order." After they took our order from drive through to when we actually got our food and I wasn't even in my vehicle yet, it took an hour... what kind of B.S. is that. That $15/ hr should not exist with kind of service.

I know the guy that was in front of us wasn't happy with his order either since he pulled up to the stop sign to pull out onto 71 and he threw his vehicle in reverse and went inside. Came back out 10 min later and pealled out of the...
