Dunkin' — Restaurant in Willowick

Dunkin Donuts (anywhere- in my opinion) has never offered a bad experience. It's a chain I've been going to since I was a kid. This one is fairly new to this area and seems great.

While that's great to have a DD, the low stars is the location. Why the city allow (AND DD selected) such a location, on such a such a tiny lot, near such a busy and already dangerous intersection is beyond me.

If you want to get drive-thru on a busy weekday, you're going to wait...not only that you may be sitting on the main road for a while blocking traffic (and there's only one lane of traffic going east at that light so you're definitely in people's way).

It's a nightmare during school mornings. And any day of the week you will encounter the parking lot/drive-thru access to be a bit sketchy. You'll be blocking traffic near the other in/out opening once you are nearing the menus... There is a dumpster and an entrance/exit in the same place and it's also where the drive-thru line has to cross (on-coming entering, and exiting cars next to you).

To park in the lot on busy days, prepare to probably get blocked in with that mess. It isn't the first DD with a tiny lot, but there is no sense to how this works.

If entering from Vine it's a straight shot to the drive-thru, but if entering from the back side you may not be able to get into the drive-thru line at all. You'd have to drive around the building and sometimes can't get into the line with incoming cars on Vine who are in line. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I faithfully get my morning & afternoon coffee from this specific dunkin, a month ago I would give a 5 star across the board.. Now, not so much. Mine & my husbands coffees are iced, we’ve been get granulated sugar, which okay easy fix BUT my husband came through the drive thru the other day & couldn’t order because the employees on shift were blasting music through the drive thru speaker. Then he proceeded to go inside & they were blasting music on their phones texting talking & the girl who helped my husband was obnoxiously on the phone with her boyfriend & told him to hold on then told my husband “sorry I have my boyfriend on the line & my other boyfriend on hold, how can I help you? Then proceeded to make the drinks wrong. I went thru yesterday & said my coffee & the man on the speaker repeatedly my coffee back to me & ended with “Jesus” implying something was wrong with how much of what I get. I am a regular customer the workers that have been there for awhile know me, as soon as I walk in they already know my order. & I’ve also worked at the Willoughby dunkin, I know how things are supposed to run. I love Dunkin! I was so excited when this one opened since it’s less than a mile from home. When they opened, the service was phenomenal. Lately, within the last two months or so, my orders have been wrong consistently. I come to this location at least four times a week, usually 5 or 6, for an iced coffee. Ordering at the drive through has been rough as it seems there is a rush. A large iced coffee w skim somehow turns into a medium hot coffee w Splenda or a medium green tea with lemon turns into a black iced tea w sugar. If they would slow down and listen instead of rushing, it would serve them well. I will say, there are two ladies who work in the morning and typically are the ones who take the orders and they are FANTASTIC. I started ordering ahead on the app and then if I order hot food and donuts/ muffins 9/10 the donuts aren’t in the bag or the second bag is forgotten. The afternoon orders aren’t as smooth as morning orders. I really didn’t feel like a Google review would have any impact but after today getting a dried out donut at 3pm and a medium caramel iced coffee that was undrinkable as it was so light it looked like the caramel syrup was the only reason the liquid had any color to it, I figured it doesn’t hurt to speak up and...
