Mr. Hero — Restaurant in Willowick

This location is usually clean inside. Food is made fresh when you order and is very tasty. They also don't have a problem accommodating special requests like adding extra lettuce to a sandwich, or cooking fries longer so that they're well done. The only reason I cannot give a five-star review is the closing staff at night likes to turn off the open sign in the front window and pretend that they're closed. We once went and ordered food 50 minutes before they closed and specified we'd like to eat in the dining room, prior to covid-19, of course. The young lady packed our food into bags and said "Oh that's just in case." when I questioned why it was not put onto trays since we specified that we would be eating in the dining room (despite her attitude and best efforts to try and persuade us to take it to go) and paid the dining room tax. "In case you've irritated me enough that I don't feel like staying here and looking at you while I eat my dinner?" is what I asked her. "Or is it just in case you didn't think any customers would have a reason to call Byron (the owner) and tell him that you dislike your job so much that you're trying to shut down his restaurant 50 minutes before his posted closing time?" This happened late spring early summer-ish, it's now September. I wish that I had called Byron the next day as I had intended to so this girl's rude behavior could be addressed by him. Life gets busy and other things have a higher priority. With the level of customer service that she showed me there's a pretty good chance she no longer...

If I could give this location zero stars I could!!!!!!!!! Picture it... I just ordered 4 romanburger meals. Now in the non cheap/non rip you off world... One would know that the meal comes with fries. I get all the way home... No fries at all in my bags... Drive all the way back, meaning a 15min drive, and my half hour now food cold when I get back home to eat... The "Manager" who says he wasn't the manager told me I didn't get fries with my meals... Ok. So when I ordered 6 sides of cheese sauce and said there for my fries... She said "I can't eat the fries without cheese either"... Ummmmmm... So cheap and nasty.. never even offered to make anything right at all... Needless to say... I'd rather eat Jesus's dirty sandals then ever give them the $50 I spent there. I had used the restroom while I waited for my food and I was VERY pleased with the cleanliness. I had the opportunity to peek into the kitchen and it was just as impressive. The order-taker didn't have much personality but I attributed that to her youth. Very good experience in all until I got home. My very first bite...there was a long hair in it! Don't remember if the cook had a hat on or not but I remember she had wild, unruly hair.
