Pie Cafe — Restaurant in Willowick

This place is great! We've had the veggie sub and a pizza with black olives and mushrooms, during our two visits, so far. The veggie sub was baked to perfection, with the bread being a little bit crunchy but still soft on the inside. Whatever sauce they put on the sub complemented the veggies nicely. I'll definitely order that again The pizza was right up there with the best I've ever had. Crust was not hard and it had sort of a sweet flavor to it. The sauce was tasty, too. The thing that was good about the pizza, in my opinion, is that they don't load the crust up with a ton of sauce and there are a decent amount of toppings on board, but not too much. Service is really good. They treat you like neighbors and everyone is friendly and anxious to make your experience worthwhile. The atmosphere isn't much to speak of. Lots of hard plastic surfaces and minimalist decor. But, if you're looking to get your food 'to go', it's perfect. We have not tried the pies,, but they look really good. They are, typically, fresh out of the oven. The small ones look just the right size for two or three people. We'll try a pie on our next visit and update this review. Best coffee, espresso, food and service I've had in a while. I've stopped by a few times now. Every time, it was worth the drive. This place is the definition of do it the right way and don't cut corners. I ordered 6 chicken tenders and some potatoe wedges with ranch and their spicy barbecue sauce. Let me tell you, I did not expect the chicken tenders to be so HUGE. I have never had chicken tenders or wedges that delicious before. One chicky tendy was bigger than my hand, and I could only finish 3 of them before I was full. Their ranch tastes like they make it in house with love and advice from the ranch gods. They had card and board games and I played a few with my friend. They had wonderful service, very kind, brought our food out very fast and even helped us pack up our leftovers when we were done. My friends sandwich was monsterous- in the best way. I used to work as a barista. I will tell you, coffee and espresso- they do it right, use great quality beans, and clean their equipment regularly- I can taste it. I cannot wait till next time to try...

Well...all I can say is wow! I haven't raved about a pizza like ever. I can't morally give stars for service or atmosphere because I did delivery, but my family & I ordered 4 medium pizzas & BBQ wings & it was fantastic. We went out of way to try the out of the box pizzas like Philly Cheesesteak & Cheese burger Pizza & those were amazing. We also ordered the Margherita Pizza & Meat Lovers. The wings...on point, they weren't undercooked or overcooked. They were done just right & that sauce should be bottled & sold! I hate Pizza crust, but this crust is so good WITHOUT dipping sauce! We ordered and it took an hour. By the time it got here, everything was still hot! They have gluten free options as well as smoothies, pies, coffee bar, subs & salads.
