Bernie's the Original Italian Water Ice — Restaurant in Wilmington

I love Bernie's Water Ice. I definitely give him a five star. His water ice is better then rita's no doubt. I lived in bear. I would travel to get his water ice. That is how good it is. Now, I live in New Castle. I travel again to get his water. Now, I store his water ice for the winter. Bernie I wish you had a water ice store in New Castle there is no doubt in my mind u are the best around. Your pizza is also,the best. I wish I could store that too.

The plain cheese pizza I got here was literally perfect in every way. I'm not exaggerating! The best pizza I've ever had in my life was exactly like this. The crust/sauce/cheese are all my favorite kinds, and in the exact proportions I like best.

But that's all a matter of taste. The reviews suggest that while most people like it, they don't think it's the best pizza of all time. I think it's pretty similar to Grotto's (at least, Grotto's around 2005) - but less greasy, and with a crispier crust. So if that doesn't sound appealing, then you might not agree, but for me this is as good...

The pizza was really tough... Chewy... Hard... Im not sure if it was overcooked or undercooked... It had so many textures... The cheese wasnt even edible.... The sauce and pizza had no taste or flavor... It was like the pizza was cooked days ago and then reheated... The water ice is ok... Stars because the staff is very customer friendly..nice..helpful...but I wouldnt go back...maybe it was a bad day....im not sure what all the hype is about...but...
