In 2017 race and religion is still an issue.... this isn't my first time coming here I've been here previously with my ex husband and got way better service today not so much. I walked in before 3 people and they all got seated before me and my two children, after finally being seated my waiter comes over ( I want to say her name was Linda blonde hair ponytail to the back) she took my order I asked for water and cranberry juice and when she returned I had two small cups that you would give to a child, I asked was that the standard size for a cup she said yes... hmmm interesting never had that before and I purposely looked at the other tables and everyone had adult size cups, immediately I lost my appetite. My food came out fast but by this time I'm already pissed off, she comes back to my table and removed the sugar caddy which is fine because I wasn't drinking coffee but her added comment to the other table she was waiting on pissed me off she says oh well here I'll just take hers off her table since she isn't using it. (talk about not necessary) I immediately asked her for a to go box and the check I went to the front asked for a manager Louise proceeded to tell me she was in charge just my luck because Louise overlooked me when I came to be seated so I wasn't looking forward to speaking with her I told her what happened nonetheless and she wasn't remorseful at at all! I promise you I will never ever step foot in this place again! I should've used my better judgement and went to IHOP... I work hard for my money just as well as everyone else that patronize this business. They get a major...
Read moreI was excited to take my husband somewhere new for he birthday breakfast. So I decided to try this place. Got there and loved how clean it was. Waited for 5mins to sit and as we were just standing there, some older lady yelled at us to sit at the back table, and just pointed to the table. Which I thought was little unnecessary and rude, but surprisingly this lady ended up to be our waitress, so we did. She was very short with us and didn't let us get one word in. She seemed to be in a rush even though there was only 4 other table occupied. She didn't look at us, kept walking away very fast, not letting us finish what we had to say, fast talking and just seemed like she doesn't like catering to her customers. Never came back to our table to top off my coffee or check to see if we needed anything. I have no complaints about the food. The food was ok, but I was expecting so much more due to the good reviews. Now even though the food was ok, I don't think I will be going back there at all or referring anyone to this place, just because sometimes it all come down to the way you are treated as a costumers. Great costumers service...
Read moreThe name definitely describes what it is. It is a tiny and cozy restaurant. The menu is simple and straight forward. My husband asked for a bacon egg and cherse sandwich with roll and the server was a little hesitant but gave it to him which tells me that they serve as the menu says. I would say ask anyway, they will work with you. The prices are pretty good. My husband and I had bacon egg and cheese sandwiches and coffee. We paid a little over $12.00 not including the tip. The staff is friendly and work the tables pretty well. Sunday morning was very busy and had a line. We chose to sit at a table and was seated immediately. Our food came in a timely manner. The server did a good job tending to us. I like that it's not a huge place and you can see them cooking while you sit. The only, what some would say "complaint" is that they only accept cash. They do have an atm machine located conveniently in the restaurant. This is old fashioned but I understand why. I will keep cash on hand so I can enjoy the simple dining that is slowly going away in our cities and towns. Keep up...
