Today was my second visit to Coastal Bagels and quite possibly the last. It was very busy this morning, so I stood over on the left side of the shop, in front of the bagels to wait for my order. While waiting on my food there was plenty of time to watch employees preparing orders. One major thing that stood out to me and my girlfriend was a younger blonde girl that faced towards the back of the restaurant and picked a wedgie with gloves on, then touches her hat, tshirt, face, etc. All of this is happening while she is touching every single bagel going out of the restaurant because she was on bagging. There wasnāt a single glove change just to be clear. We brought it to a young male employees attention to which he replies āI can try to ask her to change them but she probably wonātāā¦ā¦.. I offered to tell her myself but by that point she was handing me our order and I was ready to get out of this place. I canāt bring myself to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been to here about 5 or 6 times now for both breakfast and lunch and theyāve always floored me with how good the food is. Their lunch sandwiches are huge, so much so I couldnāt finish it. the fries do get soggy after sitting in my fridge which was sad but they are still really good fresh. The Philly chicken wrap on the tomato basil is to die for, itās a big pricey but 100% worth every cent of the 10 dollars I paid. I find they get super busy on the weekends 10/10 would recommend
Edit: weāve come back about 7 times since posting and felt the need to update it. My family came on the weekend for brunch and the service was amazing, and it wasn't a long wait at all ( about 15 mins for 4 sandwiches) which Iām really glad they improved. Great place since itās near our church and so friendly. The tots...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBiased NY/NJ Bagel guy. Not sure if itās the water difference, but the dough consistency is very much like sliced bread vs. What a bagel should be. I.e. a crisp on the exterior and should be able to pull apart with a soft center.. not the case here. Also, asked not to toast the bagels both times I visited and the bagels were toasted. Lastly, I paid for two fired eggs and they charged me for it, however, it was clear they pre beat eggs and pour scrambled eggs on the griddle⦠so I was over charged. One more thing, a single piece of cold cheap bacon does not constitute a $8 bacon egg and cheese. Another thing, they donāt put enough cream cheese on their bagels⦠all of what I stated are just workarounds as an owner to save money, vs. Providing value products...
