Not too long ago restaurants and businesses used to do whatever they could to please there customers so the customers would recommend them to others by word of mouth and so they would continue to do business with them.
For some reason El Tapatio does not believe in this and doesn't seems to care about their customers. I have had multiple issues with my orders and the way I was charged. Instead of a small refund of $5 they would rather lose their customers. Not only that, they argue their side and just say that is the way it is without even apologizing. They say, "well if you ordered it this way instead of that way it would have been less."
I've always ordered my steak quesadilla "a la carte" meaning one quesadilla with no sides. I'm not sure how a la carte was translated at this location to mean 2 quesadillas. Even if you Google the meaning online you can see it means: listing or serving of food that can be ordered as separate items, rather than part of a set meal.
The manager at this location told me that a la carte meant 2 and then he hands the phone off to someone else. When I told the next gentleman that the a la carte meaning was on Google and did not mean two, he told me that El Tapatio did not even have a website or menu online. I'm not sure how me explaining the meaning of a la carte had anything to do with them having a website or a menu but he was even incorrect about this as well as they do have a website and menu online. The two restaurants here in Wilson NC clearly do not care about the customer and they (El Tap) is always right.

   Read moreI LOVE the lunch specials & prices!! Mon-Thurs it's not very busy at lunch but Friday & the weekend is pretty busy at lunch. I can't speak on dinner time because I don't go that late. no matter what plate or dish you order they give you a complimentary saying of chips and salsa for no extra charge, which I think is pretty cool even though I don't eat them but my husband and kids do. And almost everything that they serve can be customized to your taste. like me I don't like onions and a lot of peppers on stuff at least not big chunks of them so on certain meals that have those things, I'm able to still get but without the things that I don't like. Which tells you that their food is made fresh and prepared to order, which is so hard to find these days especially at the cheap price that they offer these items for. and not to mention that the employees at this location are awesome and super friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable as well. And I always love the Atmosphere, it's perfect for dining alone, with friends or with family, even with small children (my 3yr old daughter is always with me when I go). even on days that my daughter may be a little cranky or rowdy the employees are super amazing with her! However today the price mysteriously jumps to $21 đ§ then when I show the manager that when you look up the restaurant it brings them to their webpage which brings you to their menu which says fajitas for $12 (I get extra sour cream so thatâs where 15 comes i) but anywho⌠he proceeds to say that he knows about the site but itâs not theirs⌠He then says he is aware that there are prices online and hands me a menu and says this is the updated prices.
