Abettor Brewing Company — Restaurant in Winchester

The staff was NOT welcoming or friendly. The two of us arrived at 6:20pm on a Thursday evening. We walked up to the bar and were told Trivia night was “starting soon and we needed to find a table outside”. We placed our order at the table and were told by the very unfriendly bartender that the table we were sitting at outside was already reserved for Trivia night and we needed to find a new table. There were no reserved signs on any of the tables (including ours).

We drank our one drink and left before 7pm when the supposed “Trivia Night” started. Most of the tables were still empty.

Not only were we treated poorly, we felt we were “run off” and not welcome. The outdoor seating is right on very busy, noisy road with a ton of car exhaust and noise.

Terrible experience. Don’t go. Spend your money and evening somewhere where you will...

I love that there is a brewpub in Winchester! The staff are wonderful! Its newer location is perfect (right on the edge of downtown). They have a wide selection of brews, trivia nights, food trucks, and a typical brewpub atmosphere. It's a great place to meet up with friends! Their prices are fair. I highly recommend giving them a try!

A couple notes: Many of their beers are fruit forward. If you are a more traditional beer lover (pils, lager, etc.), you may be limited in options, but you will have options. The food trucks take a VERY long time to get your food served, so plan on waiting 45 minutes at a minimum. But, the food is good, and you might forget about the wait once you...

This brewery is simply The Best! I’ve been coming here since they opened in 2019 and cannot say enough great things. They have delicious cold beers, with new flavors often. The atmosphere has a super chill small town vibe and the patio is awesome. They have live music a couple days a week, a couple TVs for the sports fans, weekly fun events (thurs trivia night), and a food truck on site almost every night. I have legitimate cravings for the margaritas on Taco Tuesday. The bartenders are super friendly and knowledgeable. Seriously I have no complaints. If you are in Winchester and feeling thirsty, stop on by, you won’t be disappointed!
