El oasis grill and bar — Restaurant in Winchester

First let me start with saying I've been wanting to try this restaurant. So my mother in law took me and few members of our family here for lunch. To start off we had chips and salsa something our family loves. The salsa was terrible and tasted like watery marinara sauce so we ordered cheese sauce instead for the chips. I took a look at the menu and saw the burrito grande and I asked for the burrito grande with steak but no lettuce no guacamole and no pico. I get my burrito I cut it open and see bell peppers shrimp chicken onions and refried beans. I then explained that this has shrimp and refried beans and I did not want it and that's not what the menu said it had in it. He apologized took it back and brought me out the SAME THING BUT WITH NO SHRIMP. I don't understand why they would put something on a burrito that is not listed on the menu. New rule if the salsa don't taste...

Can't believe this place wasn't packed. The food was excellent (soooo delicious) and reasonably priced. Service was prompt and attentive. The owner even came by to make sure we found everything satisfactory. We shared the Texas Fajitas - amazing flavor and charred just enough to enhance the dish. The margarita I had was inexpensive and a little sweet - just how I like it. The salsa was fresh and flavorful. El Oasis, we can't wait to come back!!

Edit to confirm another review - they do charge a fee for credit card transactions that wasn't obviously disclosed, even on our initial bill. We knew from reading the other review to ask and then once confirmed just paid cash - no problem. El Oasis, please disclose this as a charge on the initial bill for...

My husband Boyd and I stopped in here for the first time and I can say this is the first of many visits to come! We LOVED everything! The service was immediate, very nice and attentive, the food .. oh my .. DELICIOUS 😋 my husband had beef tongue tacos and modello ,he absolutely loved it!! The tortillas were made to oder and he loved it!! I had the steak/chorizo burrito and a raspberry margarita with sugar rim and good lord was it tasty!! You can clearly tell this food is 100% authentic and we will for sure be back!! I wouldve taken a picture of the food but once we took a bite all we could do was eat lol Thank you for the amazing food and service!...
