McDonald's — Restaurant in Winchester

I gave the atmosphere a three stars only because the Wi-Fi seems to be spotty when I visit, but I usually visit about the same time the kids are getting out of school so maybe that's it. Plus you get a lot of teenagers from the local high school and I'm an old codger and sometimes those young whippersnappers get on my nerves! But seriously I wouldn't go in and dine between the hours of 3:30 and 4:30 the place usually does a pretty brisk business but even so the drive-thru is reasonably quick considering what's going on. And they've never ever screwed up my order it's one of the few McDonald's that hasn't. Also one time I accidentally ordered a English muffin instead of a egg McMuffin, I didn't even know you could order a English muffin so that was awesome I get them all the time now with a senior coffee, I think it's $0.99? This place is a joke! If winchester had another McDonald's then this location would be out of business. Went on Tuesday drive thru was closed so service should have been quick. At least I would think. Waited over 10 min for a happy meal while waiting I watched a employee eat off a customers tray while the order was being made. Seen the manager on duty take a order handle money then proceeded to go handle food. Never washed her hands. There was probably 5 employees standing up front playing on their phones while the lobby was full of paying customers waiting on their food. I typically don't write reviews but out of the last 5 times I have ate here my order has been wrong! I can honestly see why large corporations are trying to use machines to take orders and have advanced technology make the food because they can at least get a order right and be efficient while doing it. It's hard to get five stars out of me 🤣 with that said, the way to my heart is definitely through my my family so when you treat them means a lot to me I've been in Winchester for about 6 days, everyone is so nice. Muscle has been good add tasty.The first time 2x's I went to McDonald's my frappe were kind of melted so I asked my husband to let them know when he went in the next day ever, since then they have been perfect and sometimes I order through the app so it's not like they see my car and they say all of them so I feel like they're like hey this was a problem and they fixed for everyone. Plus they're just like super friendly and I go out of their way to help you take care take care of customers and make sure they're happy. That's what customer service is about.
