Normally I don't do McDonald's, so how did this one get my business and a 5star review?!!! I am traveling 1200 miles and needed to use wifi for business, so I pulled into McDonald's parking lot where I know there is always free wifi, but this McDonald's was very noticeably different than others. First there was a McDonald's employee ( in uniform) outside power washing the parking lot. He had clearly already power washed the building which was glistening clean. Now I have seen a McDonald's have a contractor power wash the building before, but I have NEVER seen an EMPLOYEE out there doing it. Next I noticed that the area of the parking lot he was not yet too was not even dirty. So apparently the frachise owner cares enough about cleanliness that he/she bought a power washer for the store and has the employees use it regularly. Ok. So now I am both impressed and curious. Is the inside as clean? After completing my business, I went inside. Normally I would have just used the wifi and left, but I decided if it is as clean inside I will purchase my breakfast here. First I went to the restroom...immaculate! Even the mirror is clean, and everything is well stocked. In the dining room not a single table, chair or bench is dirty. The floors are spotless, the beverage and condiment areas are perfectly clean and stocked. Then, perhaps the most importamt of all...the kitchen. While most fast food reataruants have so much grease on the floor that the workers virtually skate ( as if on ice) thru thier work day...not here! The floor is as perfect as if it were brand new. Everything sparkles. Nothing is out of place or dirty at all. Finally the staff....You could not find a crew that is more proffessional, polite, helpful, knowledgeable, or well groomed in the finest 5 star restaurants! So yes I ate here, and I marked it as a favorite, so I can return anytime I am in the area.
McDonald's Corporation should use this as a training location for franchisees and managers to see how perfectly wonderful a McDonald's can be run.
Incase you wondered...my food ( a smoothy) was perfect too. I have many food allergies so my choices are limited, but I was thankful to have an option available in a place where I am confident that the staff takes every measure to prevent...
Read morePlaced a $40 order and in typical McDonalds fashion they neglected to give my wife her big Mac which I didn't notice til I got home. I always order an extra 20 piece nugget to split amongst anyone whose still hungry when they finish their meal so she ate those instead. I called the store and they offered to have me drive back (I drive 300 miles a day for work and was NOT getting back on the road). I told them my wife no longer needed the big Mac and asked how to get a refund. He again told me I could have the sandwich to which I said no, I needed a refund. He then proceeded to tell me he couldn't take my word on the fact that I didn't get the sandwich and HUNG UP ON ME! I just spent $40 on a meal, why on earth would I be calling to scam an $8 sandwich. Frankly I couldn't care less about the $8 other than out of principle it drives me up a wall to know a multi billion dollar corporation just got 8 bucks from me without providing me the product. The fact that the employee had the audacity to suggest a customer is lying and then hanging up on them blows my mind. In my mind, giving up $8 in exchange for the opportunity to continue doing business in the future is the right thing to do especially because they essentially just stole from me, but I guess I'm old fashioned in that thinking. Hope they put that money to good use because it's the last penny they'll ever get from me. My children will be disappointed but I'm sure their health will...
Read moreFirst off this is my FIRST time ever I've followed through and made it here to leave a review. To begin the visit it was in the middle of the afternoon line 3 or 4ish so the restaurant was dead. There was one couple in lobby with a child eating. Anyway my daughter went up to counter to order and pay while I used the restroom. I gave her my code to use and order a large fry for 1.00. I came out from restroom and she told me how much the order was and it was wrong. I asked her if she gave them the code and she said she did but the receipt didn't show it. We'll the 2 women working front line was over by frie bin chatting. She requested fresh fries when she ordered so I just thought they were waiting for the fries that were in basket frying to get our order. Boy was I wrong.....one of the lady's yelled from where she was asking what we needed. I asked her to rering my order so the code could be used for the discount. After many eye rolls and getting fries that were already under the heat lamp since before we walked in. I didn't even want them after the attitude from these women I guess we were bothering them for needing assistance. But as I walked out the door there on the ledge at the beverage counter lay a baby cockroach. Once again when this was mentioned to the same 2 lady's all they did was say okay as they walked off with there back to us.......SMH WoW!!!!Really do people like that...
