We stopped in after seeing a lot of people outside so we figured it must be good ice cream. WRONG. The first thing I noticed inside was the number of soft serve machines they had running. We ordered the brownie sundae and the new "Brookie" (brownie/cookie) sundae. Mine had vanilla ice cream colored GREEN for the Apple Blossom Festival... not given a choice. However, the Brookie had normal vanilla and chocolate ice cream. The green vanilla ice cream was extremely thin tasting like the difference between skim milk compared to whole milk. I've never tossed half eaten ice cream before until now. The Brookie's vanilla was completely different being thicker and more flavorful. In contrast, the chocolate's consistency was good but it tasted too much like chocolate syrup or semisweet baking powder; not good at all. It was half eaten and tossed too. $16 worth of nasty. The only thing I can recommend to the owners is use better quality ingredients and, with that many machines, implement a quality...
Read moreRubbish place, run by kids, their doing nonsense, something told me to leave once surveillance of the surroundings, a young man entered, the shop, dont know where he came from, the bathroom or where. He came from outside somewhere. He didn't wash his hands, grabbed some plastic gloves. We'll if your hands are dirty, thts defeating the purpose. Then there's two chatting at the window. Of course the one tht didn't wash his hands, was the one who prepared, the supposedly banana shake, tht literally had no banana, very very tasteless, actually it left a nasty taste in my mouth Should have followed my instincts and LEFT. the cup the shake was put in was sooooooo flimsy, it slipped out my hand immediately, the top popped off, contents spilled, I ask for the trash to be put in another cup, the one chatting with another, proceeded with pause, as if he didn't want to. Hot Mess, NEVER Again, will I patronize this place, a big 👎 for me....
Read moreNot our 1st time visiting this business. I ordered a large hot fudge Sunday. Soft serve ice cream is usually dispensed in circular motion so as to fill or nearly fill the cup or cone. My order was dispensed as a vertical tower which only filled the center of the cup. The top did extend above the lip of the cup. When compared to my wife's medium cup, both in appearance and weight, I received about 1/2 the amount of ice cream as her. Again, large vs medium. Of course the cost of my Sunday was more than her plain cup,as it should be but I was paying extra for the hot fudge and a large serving. I asked the server why my ice cream serving was so small and was told that's how they make them. My guess is that they leave space around the ice cream for the syrup but even with the hot fudge I could see about 80% of the inside of my cup.
Perhaps if I said yes to the whipped cream I never would have noticed how little ice cream I...
