Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in San Antonio

There's been a price increase in drinks. That I can understand with the times, BUT. I ordered a large 911 w light ice. Before I noticed, when I've asked for light ice, after I'd taste nothing but milk and didn't get the kick a 911 gives. This time, I asked for no extra milk as well. The employee explained that they can't fill it up without extra milk and light ice. This just confirmed that we're paying for a $7.50 cup of half drink half ice. For her, I understand she's only doing as she's been trained to. But why not just sell me a filled medium with light ice instead of a 3/4 to half empty large? That aside the employees are all soo young. They attempt to hold conversations as they're encouraged to but dont know when too much is too much. 🤣 I've been in a work truck early morning and was asked if I'm going to work or what do I do for work when it's clearly labeled on the driver side door facing them. Because of that, I quickly roll my window up after paying. Once, I had company with me that has a dairy allergy. We attempted asking about whether they had options, and the hesitation in the servers response prompted her to ask me to go somewhere else. In the past, using physical money was saddening, watching them lock up in confusion because they didn't know how to count the money, even though they were given exact change. I get that's the school systems issue, but for that, it's more of a reason to have one adult around managing. Initially, I favored this place over Starbucks, whose drinks have gotten soft over the years and more expensive as well. But this is my experience with Dutch Bros in less than a year, which has pushed me away from purchasing from them. This morning was my first drink here in over 5 months and was reminded again why.

Update: I responded to Dutch Bros via email, and the representative was great about responding in a timely manner. After communicating with them about my experiences, I wasn't sure what could be done to correct this. But she assured me they would work on it and giving them another try this morning, it seems they have. The drink was full, and they assured me there wasn't extra milk. After consuming the drink, I can agree that it wasn't. Thank you.

12/29/23 went again and ordered a large 911 with light ice and no extra milk, and again, i should've just ordered a medium. I haven't had one in months and still didn't even sense any expresso. It seemed like milk w a little coffee. I didn't argue and was bummed so I'm pretty sure it'll be a min before I come back. If...

Absolutely love Dutch Bros stopped in a few minutes ago to grab a Picture Perfect as a little morning surprise for my wife (her favorite drink there) and the two ladies that took care of me were amazing. Didn't catch their names, but there was a brunette that seemed to be training, and a lady that was training her was a redhead. Both of these ladies were amazing. Very polite with a welcoming attitude which I love. The new girl was doing great, but I have to give props to her trainer. She was amazing, she wasn't just standing there watching she was helping guide the trainee through the process while allowing her to do it herself. She also reminded the trainee to ask questions like if I wanted whipped cream and to give a total (paying cash). All while maintaining a smile. Both ladies did amazing, but your trainer was absolutely amazing. All in all my stop-in was "Picture Perfect" lol pun intended and if you need a great drink and haven't tried Dutch Bros you're absolutely missing out and must try. I come here everyday, twice a day. i visit a couple different locations every now and then, but the Walzem shop is definitley my go-to. i have tried pretty much every single flavor of every drink you offer, plus quite a few staff creations, which have all been delicious! my two complaints…i cant think of a word to describe how awesome the staff is and its impossible to pick a favorite drink because they are all good! Dani the manager is great at her job. ive watched her train new hires and those new hires turn out to be great as well. the entire staff has the best attitudes and always start your day off amazing on the way to work or brighten your day up on the way home!...
