Having made wine at a couple wineries myself, and being a passionate wine taster for years now, I was totally unprepared for the experience I was about to have as I wove my way between cases and barrels to get to their tasteful tasting room.
That was the most hilarious, entertaining, and meaningful tasting I've ever had. I tend to have as good a time as could be had wherever I taste, and I've made some lasting friendships across many a winery counter, but this one stands above the rest. I'm not a spiritual person per se, but I have this vague memory of the air being somehow charged with good vibrations. That probably has something to do with Andrew and K Squared's wine. He is about as good natured a human as you could conceive, and that was immediately apparent to me each time new people entered. Behind every great man is a better woman, so I'm sure Julie puts him to shame too (sorry Andrew). Their grapes hail from a combination of their own family's vineyard and local vineyards that they've been working with since K Squared began. From good grapes come good wine, and their wines have a range of personalities to suit all but the worst of the personalities and palates that enter their hallowed place. Whenever I am having an exceedingly good time during a tasting, I take the time to isolate the experiential bias from the wine and appreciate the wine for what it is. All of his wines stand up to the test in unique ways that I would highly encourage others to come to know for themselves .
By the time my people and I exited their establishment, I had in my possession a gift of value even greater than the storied wine I carried (including one of less than a dozen K Squared 2016 Merlots in existence). I was the proud new recipient of a foundational experience - one of lasting value and favor to be built upon in a future suddenly made brighter by the light of love and goodness pouring forth from the hearts and creations of...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting K Squared Wine Cellars, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our group felt welcomed and comfortable throughout the evening.
The ambiance of the cellar was simply delightful, with cozy seating areas and elegant decor creating the perfect atmosphere for celebration. The selection of wines was impressive, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences. Whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or a casual drinker, there's something for everyone at K Squared.
But what truly set this experience apart was the personalized attention given to the birthday boy. The staff took the time to make him feel special, going out of their way to ensure that his celebration was memorable. From recommending his favorite wines to surprising him with a thoughtful gesture, every detail was carefully considered.
Overall, I can't recommend K Squared Wine Cellars enough. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a glass of wine with friends or planning a special celebration, you won't be disappointed. The impeccable service, exquisite wines, and welcoming atmosphere make it a standout destination in the...
Read moreStopped in on my way back from Mendocino County and some of the wineries there and we showed up about five minutes before they closed, Andrew the owner was super nice and asked us to come in even though we were running late we tried three different wines our favorite was the Zinfandel and the Merlot is also really good not to mention that he was very humble and we found out that he was the winemaker because we asked he was very humble about it. It's hard to find people I don't know Waze who actually take pride in what I do without even trying to take credit for their own creations and I'll tell you one thing I know little bit about Wine and they have a very very tasty Zinfandel I personally will read it 92...
