Grand Cru Custom Crush - A Winery Collective — Attraction in Windsor

Grand Cru Custom Crush is a winery collective and home to 20+ local, family owned wineries. Grand Cru Custom Crush was designed to allow for independent wineries to partner their unique winemaking talent with world-class production technology to create some of the best wines Sonoma County has to offer. It also feels good to be supporting local winemakers with exceptional wines instead of corporations. Like almost all wineries and tasting rooms, it's very important to schedule your tasting in advance.

We made an appointment in advance and did a wine tasting with Stringer Cellars. We sat down in their beautiful tasting room and were both blown away by all of their wines! They were all exceptional and we loved every one of the wines that we tried! On their website it says that their winemaking approach incorporates curiosity, grit, integrity, science, but most importantly the never ending pursuit of making great wine. We found that to be very true! It was an intimate experience to taste wines with the winemaker and it was a very educational experience as well. We loved learning about each of the wines, the wine making process, and the different wine regions where the grapes were grown. We were also able to tour the facility and it was an all around amazing experience!

When you walk into Grand Cru there are wines showcased from the different wineries that provide wine tastings there so you can shop around and choose a bottle from a different winery if you would like to try out different wines as well. We absolutely loved this experience and will...

Go here!!! This was literally one of the best experiences we have had in Sonoma and Napa in four trips out to wine country. Nichole was awesome, knowledgeable and kind and we enjoyed each of the six wines we tased in a private setting. This is a huge facility that helps small winemakers and producers make what they want how they want to. The tasting we particated in was from six different wineries/wine makers. This was my second visit to Grand Cru Crush. I brought a new group of friends - eight of us all together. It was so interesting and informative. I love the casual yet tasteful ambiance. The wines were very good but I think the best part was Kayla. She was so knowledgeable and friendly! Each couple left with some wine and I know my friends enjoyed the experience as much as I did.
