I didn't rate the restaurant after my first experience as it was right when it first opened and I hoped they would settle in and get things smoothed out. I wanted to love this place so much. The atmosphere is fabulous and this is what our small town needed. Unfortunately, my 2nd attempt wasn't any better and its worth rating. Both times I got food poisoning. The first time, it was 4:30PM, only a handful of people there and most were drinking, not ordering food. My husband's food: sandwich and fries, completely cold. My fries cold, my tenders were hot. Took 15 minutes to receive order. Our food was clearly sitting somewhere the 15 minutes while they waited on tenders and everything got cold. The fries, were soggy and nasty, like they've been cooked multiple times. The server did not bring the coleslaw or dipping sauces that were clearly on ticket. First thing the next morning, I was up violently sick. The second time I ate there for lunch, only 2 others in the restaurant. This time, chicken was hot, but fries barely warm yet again soggy and so greasy. Server still failed to bring dipping sauces that were again, on our ticket. The coleslaw was rancid, unedible. It was not the vinegar, it was completly rancid. This go around, within hours I was incredibly sick. I so desperately wanted to love this restaurant and I sure hope they can fix their kitchen issues and whatever is making people sick and everyone's issues with cold, soggy fries. I'd be willing to try them again way out in the future if the food improves. Otherwise, it's more of a hang out spot to have a drink and...
Read moreAbsolutely abhor the QR ordering process. I might be an old lady, but I am very familiar with ordering through the QR code system. This is our 2nd time - make sure you don’t want to change an order because you’ll get an error message. Also, this visit I went to “pay my tab” and got an error message as well. You should look into getting a dedicated App like McDonald’s has, as it is so user friendly. As for the food, I liked my chicken sandwich both times. My husband said the fries were a bit salty this go ‘round. Also, if the combo says drinks included, then let your customers know that they have to get their own drinks. The drink station had no cups and no ice. There were at least 7 people working in the back. He told the cashier about the issue and instead of dealing with it immediately (like calling out to another team member), she took the next order and said, “I’ll be with you shortly”. In essence, there should be more folks “policing” the dining area, making sure there are adequate supplies everywhere. This could be a great little place to gather. You just need to tweak a few things to get it right. We might be back, but it...
Read moreHas some serious hurdles to overcome as a restraunt before taking off. Kitchen too small for order amount, prioritizing sit down over take out order most taking 20 to 30 min, taking numbers for indoor and names for outdoor orders seemingly at random leading to confusion, no good way to get orders to outdoor areas leading to cooked orders taking 10 to 15 minutes to get to customer, if at all. Orders are getting skipped and forgotten, mine included. The staff are nice but new young blood that are overworked due to being a hot new restraunt in a small town. Atmosphere and staff are nice and food is decent so far, but with the order chain issues, and small kitchen it will be hard to succeed on even semi packed nights like tonight and will turn customers away. Id be willing to give redds another shot but I hope they can turn it...
