We have been to this restaurant several times and I have given them good reviews before, but can't after last night's dinner. Normally the food is good, portions are good and staff is always friendly. Last night our waitress took our order and we never saw her again. When we asked where she was, we were told perhaps she went home. The remaining staff did try to take care of us but no one ever came back to ask how our food was. My husband ordered the trio to include a cheese enchilada and got beef instead. He didn't say anything because he likes the beef also. I ordered the seafood quesadilla which was more cheese than anything. I found 1 small piece of scallop each in two different pieces. We eventually got someone to get us a to-go-box and then had to wave someone down to bring us our bill again after that. We never saw Rosie our waitress again. To top it off the table next to us had a baby that cried the entire hour plus we were there. I felt more sorry for them than anything as the baby actually sounded sick with perhaps some congestion. People all around us were not happy with the crying baby. This is a family restaurant and very children oriented so I am not surprised management never came by. After they finally brought us our check, we got out a card to pay and sat there for another 10 minutes. Both of us had enough of the crying baby and were able to put together the cash need plus tip for the waitress that left us high and dry and got up to leave. We asked the young man who had been trying to help us some if we could speak to a manager, but he seemed stretched thin as he was scrambling trying to help a lot of people. After sitting for a while, we got up to leave and here he came out. We explained that we didn't understand why Rosie had deserted us with no explanation. The manager and another waitress began conversing back and forth in Spanish with me standing in between and didn't address us at all. Kind of the icing on the cake, we just left and honestly, probably won't be back. There are several new Mexican restaurants recently opened up within 10 miles or so from this location, so we will be trying them...
Read moreDo not expect them to rectify any mistakes! My family and I used to come here often. I ordered fajitas and they were brought out last on a skillet. The waiter accidentally flipped the entire skillet in my lap. Not only was I covered in hot food and grease, but the skillet burned my legs, and some of the food splattered onto my grandmother as well. (Not to mention my grandmother's and my pants were ruined. I've washed them three times now.) I immediately ran to bathroom to pull down my pants and put cold water on the burns. I was covered in sizzling grease, and I still have welts on my upper legs. Someone eventually brought me an ice bag, the waiter asked if I was okay after I came out of the bathroom and brought a new plate. We all kind of laughed it off and enjoyed the rest of the meal and tried not to make a big deal about it. My mother was surprised that they did not do more than that though. She called later to simply explain the experience and ask why the manager did not check in on us. The manager said the staff explained that I grabbed the plate from the waiter and did it to myself. Even if that were the case, which it is not because I did not even reach for the skillet (How dumb do they think I am?), someone should have checked in. My mother also told the manager that it could have been a lot worse if I had been wearing shorts and thankfully I was wearing pants. The manager said, without being apologetic, if my burns are so bad then I should take myself to the hospital. I thought I was very gracious with the whole experience, and I was not seeking justice; however, when the manager and staff want to play the blame game and be so unsympathetic, it does not create a good rapport. We will not be going back there and I would not recommend this...
Read moreWorst service that I've seen in all of the times I have been there. It has been a little while since I have been there but the service was terrible. They were rude and very unfriendly ugh. We were out of salsa and could not for the life of us get anyone's attention to get us more. I ended up having to ask the waitress from the other tables to get us some. Even after I did that it took another ten minutes to bring it and the kid that brought it was so rude! Then we got our food and never seen our waitress until she came and was like "ohhhhhh are you guys ok" like she had forgotten us. Then my fiance asked for another drink which was not offered. Not once did she ask me if I'd like another drink or clear any of our empty plates. What a surprise after that we didn't see her again until she brought our ticket. I then asked for a box the rude kid came with the box and practically threw it at my fiance. I then stop the other server again and asked for the manager and guess what the manager was our waitress! She came back and argued with me about my complaint and pretty much thought my complain was a joke! I will never go back there and that's to bad because I enjoyed there food. CUSTOMER SERVICE...
