Update: Back 2 years later as I'm traveling through again and it's still yummy. I ordered Goong Gaborg, Chicken Satay, Pineapple Fried Rice which features both shrimp and chicken, as well as the Pad Thai. Always so good. Ordered enough for a few meals. I waa a happy camper. I tried going here one day on my travels but they were closed for a private event. So, because I heard such good things, I decided a week and a half later that I'd drive 2hrs back to try again. This time calling ahead to make sure they'd be open. On my way there, about a half hour before arriving, I called to ask if I should order now or wait until I got there as it was inching up on 2pm and they close at 3pm to prepare for dinner service. He had me place my order - Chicken Green Curry, Beef Pad Thai both medium spice and then since they don't have Crab Rangoon I asked him to suggest an appetizer. He recommended Goong Gaborg. Got that too. About 15mins later I got a text stating it was ready. So, I was super excited to get there quick. Hands down absolutely loved the Goong Gaborg (contains peanuts) - shrimp rolled up with goodness and fried and served with a sweet dipping sauce. You get a bunch of them. They look similar to a taquito but with a wonton wrapper. I'd eat those every day great recommendation, Thank you! The Pad Thai was excellent even better at room temp. And the Green Curry and rice was awesome especially the next day with all those flavors melding. I'm glad I made the trek back. It was good eating. Staff was very friendly. Lucky are the ones that live nearby.

Just walking into the restaurant the various smells of the food they were cooking was enticing. Service was great. Highly recommend the pork Drunken Noodles! Others in our group ordered the chicken Drunken Noodles and were happy with it - but the tiny bit of fat with the pork makes me want to go back to that every time. Let's talk about the Pad Thai. First of all, the flavors were good overall. The problem I had was the noodles were chewy and the sauce was a sweeter sauce than preferred. I would have also liked some more bean sprouts, cilantro and maybe even a lime wedge to balance out the dish. (I like "tasty yum yums" in my noodles). The medium heat was a perfect heat level — right on that border between perfectly spicy and too spicy. With some of these changes, I would try the dish again, otherwise I might go for something else on the menu.

Stopped in to grab dinner with my coworkers while working in the area. Grab my usual, drunken noodles. Ordered it hot with fried tofu as the protein. I'd give it three out of five, it has zucchini, broccoli, string beans along with the usual veggies. One of my co-workers had the yellow Curry with chicken with brown rice. He said very tasty. My other coworker had the Pad Se we with the protein. He gave it a thumbs up 5 out of 5 Stars. My other co-worker or these drunken noodles with chicken, medium heat. He too said it was okay.

I had what could have possibly been the greatest night of my life. A friend of mine and myself went on a trip to The Home Depot to get some boxes for his big move into a new home, and we decided to go to Windsor to celebrate. After about four seconds of bingo night at the Flagship taproom, we decided to stop at Tomi Thai for some more food and drinks. The staff: Amazing, the food: to die for, the atmosphere: second to none, the music: bussin’. The second I sat my little dumper at the table, a waiter popped out of nowhere (this was brazy). He was the biggest hunk of a man that my eyes had ever seen, a true sight to behold. He confidently asked me what I wanted to drink, I asked for the hazy IPA (obviously). He then proceeded to leave the table and head to the taps (making eye contact with me the whole time). This man’s service could not be topped by God himself. I’m pretty sure he even flashed me some ankle bone on his way over. I mean this guy was an absolute dreamboat, NAY, an absolute unit of a man. I don’t even have to mention his name because you’d know him if you saw him. This guy comes back with my drink and there was literally not a single molecule of foam on the top. This was a first for me. I didn’t even know what to say. As I began to try to formulate words, he shushed me and presented me with the best shrimp rolls I have ever tasted in my ENTIRE LIFE. Seriously, I don’t know if he rolled those by hand but if he did, I would have had a baby on site (I’m a guy btw). I was so infatuated with the flavor of the shrimp rolls, that I completely forgot where I was (after about two beers). The waiter/hunk chunk thought I was drunk and gave me a ride home all the way back to Santa Rosa. This type of service just can’t be beat. I physically cannot remember what happened for the remainder of the night, but I like to think that the waiter from Tomi Thai wined and dined me until I could not be wined and dined anymore, for the rest of my life. This night will forever be the greatest night of my life. This night will be better than my wedding day, my first child, retirement, the sweet release of death itself. I will never reach the high that I have reached on the night that I went to Tomi Thai. This is the way it will be for the rest of my life. Pedro, if you can see this, please take me on this journey again. I would give both my arms and legs to repeat this blissful night once more.

Respectfully,

Your...

I have been spending the last few years searching all over the Northern California Region for the best Thai food, and I believe I have found it here at Tomi Thai. When you first walk in, the glowing acrylic counter top catches your eye, and this combined with the dim lighting set the mood for an amazing meal. The staff is friendly and willing to make exceptions for dietary preferences. And OH MY GOD the FOOD! Personally, I judge a Thai restaurant on two things; its summer rolls and its peanut satay sauce, as both are difficult to make perfectly every time. Tomi Thai has mastered both. Their summer rolls are soft and herb-ridden, and the peanut sauce is warm and tart; so good I could just eat a bowl of the sauce alone. But that would be illogical, as if you did this then you would be missing out on all the other amazing food. I have ordered the Panang Seafood Curry more times than I can count, and it is exciting and delicious every time. Their scallops and prawns are tender and the curry itself of perfectly seasoned and not too spicy. But that's just one of their many different dishes, and everything I've had is equally amazing. Even the prices are great! So if you want great Thai food in a great atmosphere, come here....
